Every move they have made so far is a “jv hire”. There’s no reason a team that just won a national title shouldn’t be able to poach some coaches. This has way more to do with nobody wanting to come to a place under multiple NCAA investigations than it does all these guys really deserving these promotions.
You’ve got a 1st time head coach with a bunch of guys who are very liable to be in over their heads at their new posts. This is not gonna go well.

DFBIA seems to think that being apart of a staff that won a national title automatically means that one will be a good coach at any level you put them.
Imagine if Urban left after 2014 and we promoted Ed Warriner to head coach and made like Stan Drayton the OC

everybody, including the university, the program, and the staff know what's coming... they're just waiting for their severance checks and the house cleaning when the ncaa hammer comes down.
it's not that different than when a company goes into bankruptcy and custodianship, liquidating all the assets and waiting for the reset. the boats are already burned... there's nothing redeemable there, nor will there be for many years to come.

Yoko came out and tweeted once last week, and every comment was some combination of "fund nil," "fire warde" or "fire yourself." He's crawled back into his rabbit hole and hasn't been seen since. I think he'd like to fire Manuel to take the heat off himself except that Manuel knows where the bodies are buried.
