Dude, it was 3 months ago, not 30 years ago. I haven't read too much about it. I hope I'm wrong. This is not encouraging. It's out of our hands. The only thing OSU can do it show no fucking mercy on November 30
No shit it wasn't encouraging, it was total bullshit. Thamel should be ashamed to have even published it. A whole raft of information - every bit of it damning information at that - has since come to light from sources that are far more connected to the case (not to mention known to me personally) than whoever was feeding Thamel this bullshit.

This and a similar article were the top in a search for "possible M*ch*gan punishments". So, ok. Good. I hope they get the hammer.

According to Brohio, they're making it as difficult as legally possible for anyone to get the NOA (which I believe also includes all supporting evidence). That certainly doesn't sound like a slap on the wrist.

Hey guys. Saw all the speculation. I’m fine. Just enjoying the season. Here’s a quick update on the NOA. A guy I’ve worked with before (same guy that got me the CMU pass list) got through the Michigan FOIA stonewall for the NOA. UM required a $150 deposit which was paid and said they would deliver the requested document (the NOA) within 65 business days. This was on September 17th. I believe but I’m not certain that UM can legally extend that window. I say all that to say that the NOA is eventually going to get out. If we got through the Michigan’s wall they are trying to build to protect that document, I’m sure the big outlets did as well. So that’s where we’re at. Been very quiet otherwise.

This is the time when Ohio State's president and sports administration must quietly let the NCAA know what to expect from Ohio State, if it doesn't see TCUN receive punishment that is proportional to what Ohio State received after cooperating during the Tatgate investigation concerning much more minor violations. At the very least, Ohio State should make clear that the University will be most unlikely to cooperate with any future NCAA investigation, should one arise, and look sympathetically if other power universities decide to form a competing organization.

This matter should already be resolved.

Tom Herman is available, too. Fits right in line with their recruiting pitch of "Ohio State doesn't like you, come to Michigan".
