*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

Copying a copy, but it's a great stat to look at. Going from +12 after the half to -4 shows how much they miss...all those great late round draft picks! Not to mention the levelheaded presence of Lord-father guiding them through the deceitful CFB landscape.

Their 2nd half failures this year are actually impressive. Looking back at other Michigan teams (including national rank)...

2008 - 7.2 (110) - 15.1 (84) = (-7.9)
2009 - 10.1 (91) - 14.3 (82) = (-4.2)
2010 - 14.8 (33) - 13.3 (67) = +1.5
2011 - 16.7 (17) - 7.8 (7) = +8.9
2012 - 13.2 (63) - 8.1 (9) = +5.1
2013 - 15.9 (34) - 13.2 (60) = +2.7
2014 - 9.3 (115) - 12.2 (46) = (-2.9)
2015 - 12.6 (74) - 7.9 (8) = +5.3
2016 - 17.0 (22) - 6.9 (3) = +10.1
2017 - 11.3 (91) - 9.9 (28) = +1.4
2018 - 17.6 (12) - 10.2 (23) = +7.4
2019 - 14.7 (45) - 8.6 (12) = +6.1
2020 - 15.2 (43) - 13.8 (64) = +2.6

That's +5.4 on average every other season compared to +12.4 (+10, +15.4, +11.8) while cheating. Now, as many have suggested, they're reverting to RichRod levels.
Crap. I really hate defending them, but those numbers don't tell me anything useful. They could easily explain it as "good halftime adjustments". Harbaugh started in 2015, and they always averaged scoring more than their opponents. And in 2016, probably their best season pre-covid, they had their best scoring margin after halftime. So those numbers tell me that Harbaugh was better than pre-Harbaugh. I don't think that's any surprise to anyone, though.
But, something happens that is different for pre-covid and post-covid. It isn't evidence of anything illegal, though, but should be analyzed. Did his brother slap him and explain how football works? Did he get an assistant who helped him learn to make second half adjustments? Did he suddenly create something innovative at *ichigan? I mean, I 100% believe he was cheating... that THEY were cheating. But if I just crawled out from under a rock for the first time in 8 years this morning, these numbers wouldn't convince me.

Rich Rod had the excuse at least that he was trying to run his WV style spread option offense with a bunch of Lloyd style offense holdovers.

scUM 2024 has NO excuse, it's a bunch of players who have been in the same system they are still running for years. They all for the most part look completely lost and incompetent a lot of the time. They look exactly how you'd expect a bunch of dudes who've spent the last 3 years knowing exactly what the other team was going to do suddenly having their cheat codes taken away to look like.
An interesting thing about the RichRod years, and then the Hoke years, is that RichRod was improving each year. 3 wins, then 5 wins, and then 7 wins. Hoke took RichRod's team and won 11, then 9, then 7, then 5. And the numbers up there support it - each year, RichRod was improving and Hoke was deproving. Is that a word?

So let me get this straight, tcun have literally 4x the first round talent on this team than last year's (GREATEST NFL TALENT LOSS EVAHHH), but they suck balls this year. No, it wasn't the cheating at all. Get the fuck out of here.

Not to change the subject, but I like how they have Shedeur Sanders coming to Cleveland. I hope it happens because Cleveland can't possibly do something good with a draft pick, and Shedeur would have to sit out a year.

The "we lost all these late round draft picks!" excuse is comical. Lot's of so called upper level teams before have lost a lot of their productive players to the NFL but also didn't turn into basically bad year Northwestern.

It's even more hilarious considering DFBIA and their sunshine pumpers spent the whole fucking offense hyping up all the "experience" the guys they had returning had gotten and how the "culture" was holding up strong and how there wasn't going to be much of a drop-off (ESPECIALLY with the oline) now they've completely pivoted to "durrr we got no experienced players what were people expecting?"

The Ministry is on it (This guy was one who helped try to cover up the Alex Yood "inappropriate contact with minors" story) . Always the victim

The coaches profile was scrubbed from scUMs website. His picture is still there but everything else is gone. People on twitter INCLUDING some scUM fans are claiming this same coach has done this same thing at other stadiums before as well.

Well Zach, my first question is, "Why are you trying to make excuses for him?"

Recruiting. It's important. And Cheatin' Jim treated it as an annoyance for his last couple of years because he had one foot out the door, had his cheating system implemented and had a roster stacked with veterans and COVID stowaways. Their recruiting at OL, QB, and WR the last few cycles borders on gross negligence. People acting surprised at the drop off haven't been paying attention. It's simple 1+1...

Cheating scheme got blown up
+
They didn't recruit worth a shit
=
sludge fart offense.

Add in their inability to add anybody of significance through the portal because the word is out they're on the verge of becoming nuclear waste and they're stuck with the detritus they recruited.

It definitely can't prove anything, but for us it's telling with context. For everyone else, Michigan fans will be able to claim their coaches were geniuses working with experienced players because that's not a crazy leap of logic if no one is covering their cheating. That is, until the NOA comes out and people understand what happened.
