So take it from me: this was the worst game in terms of almost running out the playclock in years. Michigan was consistently getting set with under ten seconds on the clock; Tuttle frequently ended up calling for the snap with three or fewer seconds on the playclock. This did not directly result in penalties; it does add to the general impression that the program is currently unable to do basic football things with reasonable efficiency.
