Bold strategy to randomly jump when he could've caught it and kept running.
That was Michael Taylor’s first start for TCUN, after Demetrius Brown was injured in the prior game.Who was it on Halloween 1987?
The key word there ... Northwestern. That was Michael Taylor’s first start for TCUN, after Demetrius Brown was injured in the prior game.
The team ran for 374 yards against NW’ern. Game
Taylor was the only QB to attempt a pass, and was 1 of 5 for 3 yards passing, the completion was to tailback Jamie Morris.
Don't write-off 6-6. I didn't see anything in that game that made me think they're better than I thought they were going in. Lincoln Riley put together a ridiculous gameplan and made it even worse by continually calling absolutely assinine plays. And their defense still has significant deficiencies...tackling at the top of the list. tCun were dead in the water for almost the entire second half until their defense pissed down their legs and let Mullings rumble down the field setting up the winning score. Not to mention that idiotic possession where USC could have sealed it, but decided to keep throwing like morons and only took 50 seconds off the clock. If they would have ran it a couple of times, they could have taken 2-2:30 off the clock and FORCED tCun to throw. I still say tCun could lose any of the games left on their slate.I was at 6-6 before The Trojan Debacle. I'm still at 7-5. Upcoming losses to Oregon, Pedsters and Ohio State, and they'll drop either Iowa or Illinois.

Where is Tackett Curtis when you need him?I got out of bed this morning and broke a tackle attempt by a USC linebacker.
Ummm yeah… do something extreme to match their size.If someone doesn't run a Bear Defense against these fuckers this year I'll be extremely disappointed.
Which we have…Hell, run a 5-4 defense as long as you’ve got a LB or two that can reasonably cover a TE.

Pretty sure USC tried it. Hopefully our DL and LB's are better than USC's. Some of the DE's look small so maybe they lined up their regular personnel in Bear. I wasn't able to spite watch the game so I took a look at the highlights to figure out how a top 10 team can get beat by a team that only threw the ball for 32 yards. This play ended up getting stuffed, but the next one in the highlights went for a TD against a 4-3. We'll need to be prepared to go big and really big.
