Hey I hope so obviously. As a 90s kid and having nightmares about the last 3 years I’m going to be fully on edge until the games over.No offense but this is a very chicken little post...
scUM got EXCEEDINGLY lucky against a team that I'm not convinced is very good (USC). As @1926Buckeyes pointed out, they are operating on a razor thin margin.
Chip Kelly is going to take them apart bit by bit.
With zero threat in the passing game, Jim Knowles will shut them all the way down.
I think the benefit of the USC game to everyone but UM is that it further enforces the UM coaches’ and players’ beliefs that this is “the way.” It isn’t sustainable, analytically, over the course of a season. They are like bizzaro Navy, generating triple option stats without the triple option. A couple disciplined Big Ten defenses should be able to limit the effectiveness, especially without JJ McCarthy performing a couple miracles per game.Yep. 157 of their 290 rushing yards came on 3 runs. The rest of the game.....133 yards on 43 carries. 3.09 YPC.
Yeah I do agree with that… I tend to think because they won’t be in any blowouts this year that they’ll be playing guys into the fourth every week. That’ll add up for a team that’s not very deep.scUMs Defense is going to be completely gassed and probably banged up quite a bit from being on the field so much since their offense is a 3 and out machine by the time the game rolls around.
The depth just isn't there, the backups aren't good so they have to rely on the starters to play the vast majority of the snaps, not much of a rotation at all for them this year.

Because the voters are morons. They don't bother to watch the games or do any kid of research. They just see the little numbers in front of the school and who they played and slide teams up based solely on that. To them, beating USC still means something in 2024, when it really hasn't meant shit in 15 years. How in the hell could the voters watch that shitshow and move them up 5/6 spots?
We all know down the road a few weeks and a four loss TTUN will still be in the top 25.
Where are the losses? We all know down the road a few weeks and a four loss TTUN will still be in the top 25.
if you run the ball for three yards every play, you never have to punt.
