*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

We have the advantage of revenge for 3 years of cheating and a year of ducking a loss before that. You could see scUM came out hyped in 2021 like they had some secret weapon to help them win the game and we were complacent after so many wins in a row. This year we have a group of players that came back because they NEED a win against TSUN. I don't care about transfers or NIL money or championship goals. These seniors want payback for the past 4 years. By the time The Game rolls around scUM is going to be wishing they had another Covid outbreak to duck us again. I actually hope they go undefeated until The Game so we can crush them two weeks in a row. After we break them let the NCAA take away everything they did from 2021-2023.

No offense but this is a very chicken little post...

scUM got EXCEEDINGLY lucky against a team that I'm not convinced is very good (USC). As @1926Buckeyes pointed out, they are operating on a razor thin margin.

Chip Kelly is going to take them apart bit by bit.

With zero threat in the passing game, Jim Knowles will shut them all the way down.
Hey I hope so obviously. As a 90s kid and having nightmares about the last 3 years I’m going to be fully on edge until the games over.

They do have the DL to throw our offense off though and if our LBs don’t fit the run then it could be closer than we all want.

I think we’ll win but if TCUN somehow finds a way to win the next few weeks and rolls into Columbus 10-1 or 9-2 then they’ll be more confident than you’d want.

scUMs Defense is going to be completely gassed and probably banged up quite a bit from being on the field so much since their offense is a 3 and out machine by the time the game rolls around.

The depth just isn't there, the backups aren't good so they have to rely on the starters to play the vast majority of the snaps, not much of a rotation at all for them this year.

Yep. 157 of their 290 rushing yards came on 3 runs. The rest of the game.....133 yards on 43 carries. 3.09 YPC.
I think the benefit of the USC game to everyone but UM is that it further enforces the UM coaches’ and players’ beliefs that this is “the way.” It isn’t sustainable, analytically, over the course of a season. They are like bizzaro Navy, generating triple option stats without the triple option. A couple disciplined Big Ten defenses should be able to limit the effectiveness, especially without JJ McCarthy performing a couple miracles per game.

Yeah I do agree with that… I tend to think because they won’t be in any blowouts this year that they’ll be playing guys into the fourth every week. That’ll add up for a team that’s not very deep.

Funny moment though… I was watching the game at a family gathering (TCUN/USC) and he’s not a football guy so he asked me who I was rooting for. I bluntly said “that a meteor hits the stadium”… he’d never heard that before and boy if he didn’t think that was the funniest thing ever.

I think he thought I was joking lol

Moore is clueless on how to make any adjustments, guy is in way over his head as a HC, and he has a even worse hire at OC right there along with him trying to piece together a offense. They absolutely are going to just keep doing this same thing, no matter who is at QB. It literally is run the simplest of run plays and pray the defense fucks up, that's the offense.

How in the hell could the voters watch that shitshow and move them up 5/6 spots?
Because the voters are morons. They don't bother to watch the games or do any kid of research. They just see the little numbers in front of the school and who they played and slide teams up based solely on that. To them, beating USC still means something in 2024, when it really hasn't meant shit in 15 years.
