*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

I didn’t see much of the second half. The defense looked good to me given that the offense turned the ball over twice and a short punt gave Texas three medium to short drives. By the end of the second quarter , Michigan’s defense was gassed. Edwards looked capable until Texas realized Michigan couldn’t pass. Personally,I think Texas defense is mediocre. Still in the Big 12.
That ‘good‘ defense in the first half faced 6 drives against Texas. They resulted in 3 TDs, 1 FG, and a missed FG after a total BS holding call brought back a TD. So other than being saved by a terrible call, they only avoided a score on 1 drive. I wasn’t impressed, but this defense is better than their offense.

Somebody at 11W asked about CS’s manifesto ever being released:

Brohio 12th Warrior 2 HOURS AGO
I don’t think the manifesto will ever be released in full and to be honest, it’s better this way. It’s better that the legend of it stay a mystery. The Netflix guys saw the entire thing. It’s just like a scrapbook of various leadership quotes, football plays, analysis, recruiting data studies etc. It was a huge letdown for me to learn about. The manifesto is not the John Doe from Se7en notebook of maniacal scribblings that we all wanted it to be. However he did show the lead producer an 80 page document of his life story which would probably be pretty interesting if that ever got out.

I‘ve likely had more opportunities than the average American to live with and/or interact closely with people like Connor Stalions over the years. There’s quite the range of flavors of sociopaths, narcissists and pathological lier-type folk running around. The more I see info like the kind that Brohio is sharing here, the more I’m getting a bead on exactly who that guy is beyond his well-known actions and what has been reported about him as a person. I am quite happy for every one of the 660 miles that acts as a buffer between us.

The secondary is not good, seemed like Texas was converting 3rd and long at will throwing the ball. The pass rush has definitely taken a step back, that's not going to help the secondary either.

LBs and Safeties look awful in coverage and the DBs don't look much better, minus sniffing a screen for a easy pick 6, Will Johnson definitely does not look that great this year.

The run defense is ok enough still but the problem is they don't have the depth they've had in the front 7 the last couple of years, so those guys are going to be gassed the later the game goes on especially with the offense constantly putting them quickly back out onto the field.

McMillan (UDub) burns Sainristil (scUM) and throws up the O-H in his face

Same guy who said this about Sainristil in the championship game.

He was pissing me off all game,” McMillan said. “He was calling out formations, calling out routes we were gonna run
Crazy how that keeps coming up. Just a billion different coincidences pointing to the exact same fucking thing, because we all know the sign stealing wasn’t a big deal and didn’t provide an advantage.

Edit: also, absolutely hilarious framing of that quote in the article summary from the ministry of propaganda.

 I like how the DFBIA is JUST NOW contemplating "What are Kirk Campbell's qualifications as a big time program OC?!"

They sunshine pumped the fuck out of that hire when it happened even though everyone else was already asking that question.

Every single fucking Coach on that staff is in way over their heads and it's amazing to watch.

Continuity from the previous staff! Too bad the biggest part of the previous staff's success is currently getting smoked as a HS coach.

This is exactly how I'd expect a bunch of players who had gotten used to pretty much knowing exactly what the other team was going to do most of the time to look when their cheat code got taken away.

They constantly look out of whack and confused and they make stupid mistakes because of said out of whack/confusion. Tons of missed tackles/missed assignments on defense because guys actually have to make a read on their own instead of knowing where the ball is going. Same with the OL, it is a fucking mess, they really looked clueless against Texas (and weren't much better against Fresno)

Donovan Edwards is the most hilariously glaring example of a guy who's put in zero work and was just gliding off of knowing exactly what the D was going to do when he got the ball.

Yeah, they were still cheating up until the end. Stalions had already scouted everyone, and you know he made sure that his sheets were passed on to the coaches.

Sherrone Moore contract, explained: Why new Michigan head coach doesn't have a long-term deal yet

Sherrone%20Moore%20090524.jpg

Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel recently discussed the situation on the "Conqu'ring Heroes Podcast," stating that the two sides are still ironing out the contract.

"They're being worked on as we speak," Manuel said. "I've signed a couple of the assistant coaches. You know, we had a transition not only in football, we had a transition in basketball, we're dealing with NCAA matters....., we're dealing with the situation with our apparel provider, bringing on legends as shortly as Saturday.

"These things take time, the contracts. I mean, they don't just happen overnight and the things that have popped up — but they're being worked on."

Moore echoed a similar sentiment on Friday. During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show", the Michigan head coach reassured fans that the two sides are committed to each other.

Just sayin': If a contract does get finalized you have to wonder if there will be a "fire for cause" line where scUM can terminate it (and owe him nothing) if it is found Moore violated any NCAA rules, etc. Reportedly Harbaugh had some issues with that back when he was negotiating a contract, etc.

Report: Jim Harbaugh seeking delay in start date of new Michigan contract, immunity from termination caused by NCAA sanctions

It’s not every day you get to see a contract written in disappearing ink.
