I'm a little worried Stallion's plan is to just take all of the blame and force the NCAA into a choice of:
a) Work minimally and get the guy who's screaming "IT WAS ME IT WAS ME I'M THE HERO"
b) Work harder and get the people at the top, too

At first glance, his Netflix special is tone deaf and basically an ACCIDENTAL admission of guilt. What if it's no accident?

Eh I don't think that's gonna work. You'd have to be completely stupid to believe all the mental gymnastics it takes to come to the conclusion that Stallions acted completely alone and "nobody else knew a thing".

Even if they can't directly prove it (which it seems like they can) it's common fucking sense that none of this coulda ever went down without the coaches knowing exactly what was going on.

Even if he did, someone on staff at the school is admitting to blatantly flaunting NCAA rules and lying about it.

When you sign on to coach, NCAA (and honestly most coaching training) makes you sign off on the fact you read and acknowledged the rules (i.e. Tressel and TatGate). When someone breaks them, it goes against the individual and the institution.

It's not quite accurate. From 2015-20, Simple Jim was 49-22. From 2021-23, Cheatin' Jim was 40-3. Worth noting, in the last 21 games across parts of 3 seasons prior to implementing their cheating, Simple Jim was 11-10, including 2 humiliating blowout losses to tOSU and had landed squarely on the hot seat.
It's also not accurate bc Harbaugh only gets credit for....what.....3 games last year? I hate him too much to go look it up.

Meanwhile over on the Ministry of Excuses, they just dropped their 2024 linebacker preview and there hasn't been so much as an acknowledgement of the NOA.

GoBlow has been deleting any thread trying to bring any of this up.

Balas is also still in sunshine pump damage control on their "insider" forum deleting anything that brings up the bad stuff. They are only allowed to talk about any of this if it's in context of mocking the Ohio State people as "losers with too much time on their hands"

Connor Stalions – Offensive Analyst for University of Michigan Football – Soldiers To Sidelines Coach of the Month – January 2022

This first month of 2022, Soldiers To Sidelines awards US Marine Corps Captain Connor Stalions as the January Soldier Coach of the Month for his devout devotion to his coaching craft and his players. He is currently an Offensive Analyst for the University of Michigan Football, which recently won the Big 10 Championship.

Just sayin': I've never been in the service; however, I do know there is comradery within the Marine Corp. It's "once a Marine always a Marine"; it means that once that titled is earned, it's yours forever.

I was told there are no former Marines; there are some Marines that just aren't currently on active duty, etc.

Serious questions to any Marine on Buckeye Planet: How do you personally feel about a Marine running a college football cheating scheme, continually lying about it, and even accepting an award for it? Is this actually an embarrassment/betrayal to you and/or for the Marines? Are Marine officers and Naval Academy graduates held to any higher standard than Marine NCOs?

Honestly.....what they did to Tennessee is kind of next level fucked up, too.

No joke. There’s a part of me that, all things considered, is more ok with what they did in conference than what they did out of conference. I can’t really put my finger on why it bothers me more other than keeping our own dirty laundry in our own conference… Again, I struggle to explain it.

So according to PD's latest, scum administration knew about all of this no later than January '23: not only did they not notify the ncaa, they allowed the cheating to continue into the '23 season, knowing this was all going to come out. It was a calculated strategy to dodge, duck, dive deny deny deny - hope like hell you can win a natty before the house of cards falls, and then deal with the fallout. Death Penalty.

Tressel didn't get the axe for the improper benefits.......he got it for knowing about it and lying to the NCAA.

Absolutely. All to avoid certain matchups and hopefully get the #1 seed to maybe have an easier road.

There’s a lot of money lost here btw with how they impacted teams futures. I hope it can reach the point where universities can bring lawsuits.

This is exactly it. They had knowledge of the cheating and allowed it to continue. WHILE ALREADY UNDER NCAA INVESTIGATION. They, at an absolute bare minimum should have told the coaches to shut down the sign stealing operation NOW. But nope. They decided they were just gonna try to race to the finish line before it was exposed. Zero integrity. They are, by any definition, the most corrupt program we've seen since the heydays of dirty/rogue CFB programs in the 1980's.

Death penalty? Is it warranted? I'd say given the size and scope of the operation, and the inaction of the school administration...if ever it was warranted, this, along with the ped aggy saga in 2011/12 are the cases for it. Unfortunately, the NCAA has said it is not something they will ever do again. However, they need to exact vengeance at a level that leaves their program crippled for years to come.
