Early AM PremierDrum drops...

"Roughly four hours before the 2021 Big Ten championship game, a Big Ten coach called an Iowa staffer and issued a warning. “Michigan has got all of your signals and calls,” the coach told the Iowa staffer. “I wished I’d gotten to you earlier.” That coach confirmed the context of that conversation to The Athletic. By then it was too late for Iowa to change its signals. Michigan dominated in every phase, blowing out the Hawkeyes 42-3 in Indianapolis."
And louder still: "In the last 11 months alone, Michigan suspended its football coach for three games, suspended him again for three more, picked fights with the NCAA and the Big Ten about the process of investigations into multiple rules violations from two separate cases, lost its head coach to the NFL, elevated an assistant to head coach despite his one-game suspension in 2023 for his part in the first NCAA investigation ― and hired him knowing he was an integral player in the second (yet to be resolved) NCAA investigation." https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...ueanthem&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
How close do you think we are to the mythical threshold of attention that forces some of the more hesitant parts of the sports media landscape to actually cover this thing?
Close... the first leaked chunk of the NOA will likely seal it.
I have yet to use this phrasing throughout any of my reporting on this.

Alas, boom incoming.
Poor word choice on my part. It's good, new info, including a portion of the NOA.

Giving a few friends a bit more time to review so I don't out anyone.

And just a reminder of what lying, unabashed hypocrites these scUMbags (mainly Cheatin' Jim Harbaugh) are, never forget this...

In June of that same year, months before the Big Ten returned to play in October of 2020, Harbaugh and Big Ten coaches were on a conference call discussing the unique circumstances of the pandemic. It was then that Harbaugh accused Ohio State coach Ryan Day ― the same Day whose teams had beaten Michigan every season since Harbaugh returned to his alma mater in 2015 ― of illegal contact with players.

The very thing Harbaugh and his staff were doing at the same time, and later sanctioned for by the NCAA.

And wouldn't you know it, in his first public comment on the NCAA cases since leaving Michigan, Harbaugh stood tall earlier this month and puffed out his chest. Just like a Michigan Man.
Fuck these con men and fuck the Dirtiest Program in America. Fuck them long, fuck them hard, motherfuck them every chance you get.

This upsets me every time I see things like this. The damage TCUN did to every program (particularly Ohio State, Penn State, Sparty and Iowa) with this scheme is just so morally bankrupt.

Without vacated wins and titles and bowl bans any punishment will lack no teeth. I hope that they also were gambling and that the catapult issues are real. Because I want this nightmare to continue for these bastards and I want to see them get hit for a third and maybe fourth NOA in a 2 year span.

Minimum framework for me:
Vacating all wins/championships from 2021-23 (ALL of them)
2 year postseason ban (would prefer 3 to match the number of seasons they fabricated)
Heavy show causes for any coaches involved, including Cryin' Sherrone Moore
Sherrone Moore penalized so heavily tsun has no choice but to fire his ass into outer space
Lifetime ban from CFB for Cheatin' Jim Harbaugh (I'd love to see the NFL take some action, too, but I'm not holding my breath)
Hefty suspensions (can't land on a number right now) for any coaches currently on staff with involvement

That's a MINIMUM for me. I want my pound of flesh. Anything less is a sham. The NCAA needs to FLEX here to deter any other "rouge" programs from trying to emulate what these cheating bastards pulled off. Do I think they'll go to the lengths they should? Nah.

I'd also like to see scholarship reductions, strict probationary terms, and fines.

Matt Hayes makes some very interesting comments in his article, which lead me to believe that he has seen the actual NOA:

EDIT: I think that Hayes has taken "facts" from the NOA and is disguising them as thinly-veiled commentary in order to satisfy his legal department.

EDIT: To clarify: The Sign Stealing scandal broke in October of 2023. At that time, Matt Hayes could have written an opinion piece stating "sign stealing gave Michigan an undeniable competitive advantage" and "Jim Harbaugh definitely knew what Connor Stalions was doing on his sideline." So why wait until now, three days after scUM received the formal NOA?

The NOA is starting to leak. This will get good, real good.

Yep I think a lot of the media probably has gotten a hold of at least parts of the NOA, that's why we are suddenly seeing articles like this trickle out. When this all first came out last fall it was brushed off as "good gamesmanship" by the media for the most part, the tone has completely changed now and there has to be a reason for that.

More new PremiumDrum:
New information on the genesis of this investigation, as well as specific information from the NOA.

This entire investigation - both the computer access crimes and the impermissible advanced scouting scheme - began with "unprofessional and inappropriate conduct" by Matt Weiss inside the football facility. Based on witnessed behavior, Weiss' university-owned devices were seized and he was put on leave.

University IT brought in a cybersecurity firm to gain access to Weiss' encrypted devices.

Objectionable content discovered falls into two categories:

- Sexual content: including content stolen from the iClouds of UM students as well as pornographic images of unknown origins.

- Football content: Evidence of an advanced video scouting scheme, video recordings of opponents' sidelines, mockups of opponents playsheets, and a spreadsheet schedule of games to be scouted, including assignments and logistics details.

Each of these two "buckets" of content were referred to separate legal firms at the behest of UM to determine next steps.

At some point, a third firm became involved and obtained much of the same advanced scouting scheme evidence as discovered by the UM-contracted firm, but also went on to "close the loop" with irrefutable evidence of tickets being purchased, assignments made, games filmed, video materials prepared and uploaded, and ultimately the scouting videos and ancillary materials being accessed by UM coaches. This group is the one that sent investigators into games knowingly being scouted to gather video evidence of the UM operatives. This firm notified the NCAA of its findings.

I had wrongly believed that this firm was another that had been contracted by UM administration to look into overarching cultural issues within the athletics department, but that has since been ruled out. The prevailing belief among my sourcing is that this investigation was contracted by sports books who ultimately had help by someone on UM's staff.

This specific loop is laid out step-by-step in the NOA: /game scheduled/ > /tickets purchased and assigned/ >/ game scouted, operatives photographed at venue by investigators/ > /video scouting and game materials prepared and uploaded/ > /video materials accessed by multiple members of UM coaching staff/.

This outline is designed to counter the defenses brought to the table by both the university and individuals charged.

The NOA also alleges that UM knew of the advanced scouting scheme as first uncovered by university IT and the cybersecurity firm they hired to get into Weiss' devices. Despite this awareness UM administration did not notify the NCAA, nor did they make any necessary personnel changes "to uphold their responsibility of integrity to the Big Ten conference and the NCAA" (quoting a source's paraphrasing here, for clarity's sake).
"Dead to rights."

And how gross is it that this dips into creepy shit like hacking co-eds shit and stealing pics? That program is a puppy mill for inhuman behavior.

Fuck vacating all their “wins”. Every game from 2021 to the game after sparty this year gets forfeited, post sparty vacated.
