*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

So many people are not reading the tea leaves. The NCAA is going to administer as much pain on these deserving assholes as they possible can. Why not ? Who are SCUM's allies on this ? The BIG ? Nope.
No one. Everyone hates them.

Not only that but normally teams I guess settle on their punishments. Because they’ve told them to fuck off how many times and have sided with Harbaugh this entire time… where’s the NCAAs incentive to settle? Why would they need to?

These guys are dead to rights. Seriously what would TCUN even say to turn the tide if this became a lawsuit in court?

What the hell would there defense be? There literally is no defense. They have zero leverage and we all know the latest trends for punishments for infractions far less serious than this (vacated wins and bowl bans).

I really hope you're right.
I just can't be optimistic about this. I know what the NCAA should do. But I don't know what they will do.

I really think expectations will not match realities. I keep hearing things like this, and I understand and agree with it (mostly), The problem here isn't that this sentiment is wrong, it's that outside of the B1G in general, and Cbus in particular, a lot of people aren't that invested in seeing true justice. A large number of people just do not care that Michigan cheated. A large number of people do not feel like thay have any horse in that race. The NCAA is consistently inconsistent and a large number of onlookers do not have confidence that anything will come of this, even if they think something should be done. Lastly, there are wide swaths of college football fans who hate the Buckeyes and they are more amused than outraged at the antics of that booger eater. He is a spectacle, beyond the punishment of the NCAA, and many bleeding hearts don't think it is fair to punish the kids there now for the bad actions of former coaches.... with all that said, I am thoroughly enjoying this brouhaha and relish the absolute certainty that we know they cheated and they know we know and they have to defend their cheating ways for all time. That title comes with it's own galaxy of asterisks and it is glorious.

I just don't think that the NCAA gives a shit about what the general public thinks. The general public doesn't have all the facts. Jimmy and the rest of those arrogant MFers have been pissing in the NCAA's face for too long. Now it's their turn .....

The lawsuit stuff is peacocking. They don't want to get into the courts and open themselves up to discovery. With that said, I'm not sure what the endgame is for them in all of this. They should be contrite and work with the ncaa to minimize the damage, but it appears the institutional arrogance is overriding common sense.

Harbrau is a whole different matter. I get what's going on there. He's 2500 miles away, and no longer has a tard-wrangler.

Yep.

Then you start seeing repetitive language like "failure to monitor" and "failure to cooperate" and I truly don't know how they avoid getting hit with LOIC at this point...
what’s more important about the “Failure to Monitor” language is that it is the UofM that is using that language. Failure to Monitor is the lesser charge. They are preemptively trying to plead guilty to the lesser charge. But they’ll get hit with LOIC anyway

The "joke" of institutional arrogance is actually their move. They're basically saying I dare you to shut down a program as big as Michigan. Yes, their product on the field when they aren't cheating has been garbage......but it's still a big program that people (certainly not me or any of you) don't WAN'T to kill the way SMU was killed. It's what they deserve, though.

The ncaa has said they will never again levy the "death penalty" as the effects on SMU's program essentially wiped them off the CFB map permanently. That isn't on the table. What absolutely should be on the table though is vacated/forfeited wins, removing ncaa recognition of their NC, suspensions/show cause for coaches involved, heavy recruiting penalties, and multi-year postseason bans. They should basically be neutered for the next decade. The B1G should get off their nebbish ass and strip them of their 2021-2023 titles, too, and ban them from the B1G championship game for at least 3 years.

The NCAA is about to go Taxidermy Meemaw on their asses!
