*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

They may lose all their stars, but they'll never lose their ability to run their mouths.

OSU players and fans were at a place not all that long ago, where things were taken for granted and there was a sense of entitlement. All those three stars need a couple years of development. There aren't all sorts of sure shots in the portal, and most are also development pieces.

With that, I admittedly don't know what scum has in the wings. Maybe they have stuff. There have been times in the past few years, when I thought things would fall off and they have not.

This however seems like a huge talent drain going on.

yeah it’s tough to know what will happen with them.

Should JJ go pro? Absolutely not, but he’s losing all 5 starters on the OL, he’s losing both WRs, he’s losing 1-2 TEs and he’s losing Corum (maybe Edwards too). If this break wrong for them I honestly will be shocked if they don’t have 4 losses by next November.

Because while their defense should be so so, it won’t be anything close to last year. They’ll need to score 28+ vs the good teams to win and I don’t see how they do that with the system they have.

JJ I think has to go pro, because if he comes back and they run the same system with the OL and backs they have returning he’s going to sink to the 3-5 round range. If he goes pro now? Maybe he can test well and slide into the late first or 2nd round.

And very possibly losing Harbaugh too.
Somebody will draft him just based on "being a winner", and QB injuries are so rampant that he will get shots.
They lose everything on offense, and even if they didn't, Stalions is out - he will never look better than he does now.

I'm curious, but does anyone have any idea who is their starting QB next year. If it's Orji, does he even know how to throw a pass? He was only brought in this past season essentially to be a fullback.
Per a Bleacher Report article (dated 14 Jan 2024):

Michigan's QB, RB Depth Chart, Recruit Commitments After McCarthy, Corum Enter Draft

Here's how the quarterback room is shaping up with McCarthy and graduate transfer Jack Tuttle gone:
  • Jayden Denegal
  • Alex Orji
  • Davis Warren
At running back, a lot will hinge on Donovan Edwards because his return would help to soften the blow of losing Corum:
  • Donovan Edwards
  • Kalel Mullings
  • Benjamin Hall
  • Tavierre Dunlap
Some reinforcements will be arriving through the 2024 high school class.

Michigan signed 4-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, who's the No. 7 recruit at the position in 247Sports' composite rankings. Jordan Marshall, a 4-star recruit who's the sixth-best running back prospect, and Micah Kaapana will join the backfield.

It's easy enough to say Michigan has to hit the portal to find a QB to either replace McCarthy outright or at least provide some competition. The Wolverines are way behind the game, though.

He can collect more NIL money tho
Sure but he can also get hurt running behind that OL.

Right now it’s worse case for these pricks. They’ve lost everyone that could’ve come back.

Still to declare is Edwards, Makari Paige and Rod Moore. If they lose Paige and Moore damn that’s brutal for them.

Again, I hope Harbaugh leaves… then players like Graham and Grant transfer out for the final blow.
