2024 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

For the people complaining about blowouts

20 of the 30 4 team playoff games were decided by 10+ points.

There’s no system that’s ever going to prevent blowouts. I suspect the 2nd round games will be more competitive but likely most years lots of blowouts in the 1st round games
I'm just saying what everyone here already knows, but only way to reduce blowouts is to stop inviting teams ranked 7-12 to the playoffs.

That being said, thanks to the most retarded seeding rules ever, we will probably get a blowout or two in the second round as well. Moreover, since the seeding has two of the top contenders meeting in the second round, and the winner of that game won't play another top contender until the championship game, we might get a blowout in the third round.

I think Arizona State might actually beat Texas.

Ped State might crap themselves and lose to Boise as well.

Georgia vs ND might be the only blowout, I see UGA winning like 24-7, ND is cooked if the run gets stopped.

Interesting. I see this almost opposite of you.
Texas defense is legit and they’re going to have a large advantage on both lines.
I also see PSU being too much for the truck drivers.
Georgia/ND will be a close defensive game.
