I think the real reason is to fuck up travel for the road team. He’s not concerned about Georgia over Penn state, but if he could move the cotton bowl ahead a day it ruins a lot of osu fans flying in and opens up more spots for local Texas fans.

I wouldn’t worry about Penn state or ND.

We played penn state, beat them and were the clearly better team. This isn’t like the rose bowl revenge factor, when Oregon beat us by a point but it still looked like Ohio state was still the better team.

ND ends might cause us some trouble, but I don’t see how they are better than the ducks, and the middle of their D line is battered. They haven’t played a team that can pass but I don’t see anyone stopping our passing attack. Their offense is 1 dimensional and Riley ain’t running for 300 yards.

Texas is the best team we have left.

Personally, I think ND is a bigger threat. Them losing Rylie Mills was a big hit, but they have a very good run game and don't turn the ball over, which reminds me of another team we've faced. Excellent special teams also. Texas is more talented, but they pose a similar challenge to other teams we've already faced and beat while ND is more unique and a style of play we haven't shown we can blow the doors off of. Either way, we are the favorites over the field for a reason.

Agreed 100%.

Many forget in that PSU game we gave up a pick 6 and Will fumbled going into the end zone as well. That game should’ve been a 20+ win

ND is scary because they’re like TCUN.

However their DTs are banged up and so are their backs for that matter. Leonard cannot throw the ball though that’s the thing.

To counter that point, PSU threw a pick in the end zone and also got stuffed from a 1st and goal from the 3. They very, very easily could have won that game.
