Has there been any flag planting in the playoffs. I heard that’s what winners do. Asking for a friend.

It literally is a manifestation of delusional narcissism. War, famine, terrorism, genocide, disease and poverty. God can't be bothered to meddle in such trivial matters. God needs to be focused on your foosball team scoring more points that the other foosball team because you're just that important. #GodsPlan
That program would be 10-3 Marshall, whom Ohio State beat 49-14 earlier this season, and agreed, also didn’t belong anywhere near the playoffsDouble edged sword. Then, you'd have a bunch of undeserving G5 champs. Anyone think Ohio U. deserved to be in this year. Or whatever poverty program won the Sunbelt this year?
I think the conference championship was a fuck you notre dame thing that backfired spectacularly once it became the power 2 the mid 2 and g5The biggest problem I see with the format is giving byes to teams that clearly do not and did not deserve it. They should make CFP rankings the basis for the seeds, otherwise you get some absurd results. Boise State was the 9th-rated team for a reason, they never should have gotten a bye. PSU got a ridiculously easy draw with the 10th- and 9th-ranked teams being their only obstacles to being in the top-4, as the #6 seed. PSU probably should have been the #4 seed, but that should put you in line to play the 5th-best team to make the top-4. Arizona State as the 12th team also should not have gotten a bye. I realize they want to try and limit the wear and tear on teams that played in a conference championship game by giving them a bye, but you're always going to have more than 4 teams that played in their conference championship game in a 12-team format. They need to get rid of the auto bye for conference championships - winning the conference is the reward for winning the conference championship, it's always been that way, and getting a bye in the playoff shouldn't factor into it.

Penn State, please. I don’t care about the revenge factor. It’s a familiar opponent that I feel the Bucks truly have a psychological advantage over (almost an OSU v UM thing). Not to mention the pure talent, JTT, and most importantly James Franklin.I have to be real… I don’t particularly like the idea of playing either Penn State or ND.
ND because of their TCUN qualities and Penn State because they’ll have the revenge thing going.
I think we will beat both if we get to the final but ND specifically is a concern.
When Notre Dame ran off the field, they need to let Georgia make their substitutions, too. So why not take your time? Sub them out 1-by-1. Force a delay of game. The NCAA rulebook states that you can't substitute more than 11 players "while the ball is in play" (AR 3-5-2-I) https://www.ncaapublications.com/p-4705-2024-ncaa-football-rules-book-online-only.aspx
Replay shows the long snapper had not gotten set or touched the ball before the mass substitution, making it a dead ball and a legal play https://youtu.be/B78JMxYQoDM?si=OSmYEWxMdApCjGD_&t=800
100% agreed. I immediately said that as I was watching. It was a free chance for Kirby to have his players drain the play clock. When Notre Dame ran off the field, they need to let Georgia make their substitutions, too. So why not take your time? Sub them out 1-by-1. Force a delay of game.
Hard pass on Penn State. It will be much more satisfying beating Notre Dame back down to earth instead of beating Penn State for the eleventy-billionth time. Plus it really is hard to beat a talented team twice in the same season. We are better than PSU no doubt, but it's not a gimme imo.Penn State, please. I don’t care about the revenge factor. At that point it would be doing what you know you can and finish the mission.
I can eat my words but I would feel extremely extremely confident if it’s Penn State at a neutral site for the Champ.
Agreed this ND team would be a real pain to play. They bring and seem locked in as well.
Never going to happen but it'd sure as hell be entertaining to watchSaw someone mention that you have the top 6 coaches on a stage somewhere and they get to pick live who they want to play starting with the #1 seed.
