I think it's worth trying on Saturday to start out. Hinzman's just not strong enough. If we get can decent blocking from center I think it would open things up considerably.
Now that Simmons seems to have gotten on the same page, I would tend to agree. I think Hinzman will be a good center but he was a year off in terms of physical development. Wypler staying one more year would have really helped in that regard. It seems like there is improvement across the whole OL though as we have gone along including Hinzman, so hopefully his play is good enough not to be a liability.

I said after last year that there was going to be an inevitable drop-off at OL losing PJ, Dawand and Wypler, but hopefully just a moderate amount and we should be fine. We'll find out for sure on November 25th, but it seems like that is about where we are at and if we keep progressing, the OL is good enough to get us to where we want to go even while it is not a strength at the moment.

The interior of the OL needs to have a GREAT game in order for the offense as a whole to see success. ScUM has some monster DTs who can get in the backfield, and also tie up double teams. Jackson and Hinzman had some really bad whiffs against Minny that can’t be had against scUM.

I'm a little concerned for Hinzman against their big DT's. Hopefully, he has a great game.
