I see Michigan is already trying to position this is a failure to monitor situation.

Head coach suspended two different occasions in the same season for non-related reasons. Multiple staffers terminated/resigned. Each day or two there seems to be something new. And so on.

Yeah, that sure feels like failure to monitor and not lack of institutional control;-)

One staffer fired for doing the cheating
One staffer fired for trying to cover up the cheating
One staffer fired for something so inappropriate that the FBI is involved....


The NCAA already made the rule for morons like Harbaugh who try to say they didn't know but even if they didn't...how many rouge assistants can be fucking around and you are still trying to pull a Sgt Schultz?

Ever since the scandal was made public, every move the cheaters up north have made has been the wrong choice. From outright denial, to arrogant defiance, to destroying evidence to devious cover up. This is going to set their program back decades.

I’m no psychologist, but the tone of this smacks of an anxiety attack. He keeps switching from defensiveness to innocence throughout - including self-descriptions as a martyr and threats of revenge. The spelling is sloppy and structure is rushed and out of place for a guy of his intellect and education.

Can’t even begin to tell you how much I hope you’re right

But that’s what we thought about Ped State

Then the NCAA softened the penalties

They even restored the vacated wins

Just a few years after it came to light they were B1G champions

I hope this hurts TCUN as much as you say

The NCAA has never failed to disappoint me though
