I see Michigan is already trying to position this is a failure to monitor situation.Sources: New info swung U-M's stance on probe
Michigan's sudden change in how it was approaching the Big Ten's ongoing suspension of football coach Jim Harbaugh coincided with new evidence in the NCAA's ongoing investigation into the Wolverines' alleged cheating scheme, sources told ESPN.www.espn.com
And defiance from the University president and the regents as a cherry on top.I see Michigan is already trying to position this is a failure to monitor situation.
Head coach suspended two different occasions in the same season for non-related reasons. Multiple staffers terminated/resigned. Each day or two there seems to be something new. And so on.
Yeah, that sure feels like failure to monitor and not lack of institutional control;-)

Ever since the scandal was made public, every move the cheaters up north have made has been the wrong choice. From outright denial, to arrogant defiance, to destroying evidence to devious cover up. This is going to set their program back decades.I see Michigan is already trying to position this is a failure to monitor situation.

So far Jimmah has...
One staffer fired for doing the cheating
One staffer fired for trying to cover up the cheating
One staffer fired for something so inappropriate that the FBI is involved....
The NCAA already made the rule for morons like Harbaugh who try to say they didn't know but even if they didn't...how many rouge assistants can be fucking around and you are still trying to pull a Sgt Schultz?
Can’t even begin to tell you how much I hope you’re right… This is going to set their program back decades.
Actually, at 1:30:55, co-host Chris comes up with a classic blast about Scam Webb: "You are ordering a prostitute and asking her to tell you how big your dick is ... you are paying her to lie to you."Breaking News: Michigan Football Coach Jim Harbaugh Fires Cheating Coach!
Michigan Wolverine AD Warde Manuel announced today that LB Coach Chris Partridge has been fired by Coach Jim Harbaugh. It appears the cheating scandal was n...www.youtube.com
You only need watch the first 60-seconds if you want… but you should for the lulz.
Good point. But one thing that is different is the competitive advantage and on field cheating plus the rest of the BIG calling for their heads. The continued arrogance which you have so effectively pointed out along with their defiance might just do them in. Plus there is still the recruiting investigation and the FBI computer crime investigation. And if gambling is involved...Can’t even begin to tell you how much I hope you’re right
But that’s what we thought about Ped State
Then the NCAA softened the penalties
They even restored the vacated wins
Just a few years after it came to light they were B1G champions
I hope this hurts TCUN as much as you say
The NCAA has never failed to disappoint me though
