I was just talking to my dad on the phone. They have 44 seniors this year, right? The whole staff is going to be gone after this year. The program is gonna get hammered into the ground by the NCAA, and the transfer portal is a thing.

Even if the NCAA doesn't give them the death penalty, will these chucklefucks even be able to field a team next year? How many of them are going to transfer out? How can they make up the difference when no kid in their right mind will transfer in? I mean, maybe some kid from Slippery Rock or Baldwin Wallace will transfer there because immediate starting positions are open, but man. It's gonna be UGLY. And I'm gonna love every minute of it.

Which even if true the NCAA has already pretty much shown it could care less anymore about stuff that happened pre NIL when it comes to standard improper benefits cases.

I've thought for a while that this is exactly what a scandal would look like if some superfan were running the show. And lo and behold, today Totchman makes his appearance.

Collectives are a cancer. It's literally the worst kinds of superfans who are attracted to starting them, and it doesn't matter if they're alumni or not. There are solid reasons why GS is leading the calls to reign them in and regulate them. What’s crazy is. It’s likely Ono went to Harbaugh and asked “hey be real with me, did anyone know”. And Harbaugh said nope we didn’t. And Ono went with it just on the back of that and some good vibes and sued and made the situation worse.
