Circling right back to the "we've got binders of dirt" crap :lol::lol:

Mud slinging is a dangerous game

Submitted by TK on November 6th, 2023 at 4:54 PM
I’ve heard from people I trust over the years that UM has some serious dirt on OSU and MSU. Balas says there’s a 2 inch thick binder they have on other programs. Once the leaks come out that OSU was behind all of this, it’s open season to release the dirt we have. Should be interesting.

What? You mean that just because someone else might be committing a fraud doesn't mean I'm absolved my own frauds?

So lets be clear. It is 100% not against the rules to steal signs in about any sport. But there are actually rules to it. Like in baseball you have to part of the players in the game to do it. So when a runner is on 2nd base it is OK for him to signal the batter if he wants. But someone from Center Field can not do it and signal a guy behind home plate to hit the drum when a splitter is coming (a hypothetical).

And in college football you can steal signs. What you can not do is attend games in season and in person. Record things at that game and use them to "scout" or prepare for that opponent.

So a couple of points to this last bit:

- SCum contends that rule only applies to on field scouting (sidelines are OK by omission)
- that rule does not say you can not use a cell phone
- that rule does not say you can not use your special "spy glasses"
- that rule does not apply because everyone steals signs so what is the big deal?

Sorry this is just me ranting as that whole fan base and program makes me a bit unhinged.

DFBIA have been on a full out assault against "anonymous" sources over the course of this whole things. 'How can we trust them if they wont give their name!"

Im guessing we are supposed to unquestionably believe this story of some random B1G staffer coming forward to incriminate somehow the whole rest of the league because he "Feels bad for Michigan" but won't give his name because he "doesnt want to ruin his coaching career"

A random Big Ten staffer, speaking on terms of anonymity because he doesn't want to hurt his "coaching career" somehow had an attack of conscience after conspiring with multiple other Big Ten coaches?

I mean .... we don't know what the doc shows or says.... it could be that simple jimmah didn't change their signs from year to year and they simply wrote down what they were during the game and leveraged it.... and how did this staffer get this "explosive" doc?

Circling right back to the "we've got binders of dirt" crap :lol::lol:
Circling back to psychological projection, as they call other snitches and freak out about the manner in which their cheating was exposed, it appears a part of their official strategy as a team was collecting dirt on other teams to rat them out if needed.

I would not be surprised at all of this was part of Connor Stalions’ job duties (or manifesto) as well. Collect binders of info to rat out other schools in the event your illegal activity is discovered. And who knows, maybe the source of that story is Stalions as a “former Big Ten staffer” himself.

Also why would the whole fucking conference be conspiring to bring down scUM and not touch Ohio State? Makes no sense, unless you're an arrogant fool from up north.
Yes….it’s laughable how M finally gets a very good team and they act like this is something new to the conference. Like we OSU wouldn’t understand. Note to M: Ohio. State has had teams as good as their team this year about half a dozen times in the past 20 years

The B1G was surely aware of that "bombshell" in that AP article before they put scUM on notice. Which would make one think it's not the huge show stopping bombshell that would free Michigan and ruin everyone else that DFBIA thinks it is.

Even if true, is there rules against coaches sharing information? As long as said info was legit obtained within the rules?
