Harbaugh already faces NCAA charges of failure to cooperate and head coach responsibility related to alleged recruiting violations during the COVID-19 dead period. A violation by a member of his coaching staff could trigger another charge of head coach responsibility, which could be a Level I violation.
Apparently Conner Stallions already took down his X (i.e Twitter) and LinkedIn accounts; however, photos still exist on the internet:Sources: U-M staffer eyed as center of scheme
A low-level staffer with a military background has emerged as one of the linchpins in the NCAA investigation into Michigan's alleged sign-stealing operation, sources told ESPN.www.espn.com
This is crazy and much bigger than it seems right now. It’s said to be bigger than any of the other sign stealing instances (Astros and Patriots). Also stated to involve a network which includes electronically communicating.
Just so damn angering. Now we know why they dick around with MAC schools only to beat big ten schools by twice as much.
I’m here for it.
I just wish they’d get their penalty now.
It honestly doesn't matter if it can be proven "he knew" ultimately it is his duty to know, and he is held accountable for any actions that take place within the programBoth OC Matt Wiess and DC Jesse Minter have to know the "sign stealing operation" is going on; and unless Harbaugh is a total idiot he knows too. Now Harbaugh might not have any direct involvement in the "in person advance scouting"; but he would have to be an imbecile to not suspect something illegal is going on. The NCAA has to have something on them, I just hope it is proverbial "smoking gun"......
Serious question: which would be the worse look, that he organized (or at least knew about) this and didn't stop it, or if something like this could be going on in the program for which he is supposed to be in control of without him knowing anything about it?It honestly doesn't matter if it can be proven "he knew" ultimately it is his duty to know, and he is held accountable for any actions that take place within the program
I always love it when the "leader" is responsible for the whole organization when things are going well to the quick shift of "I don't know nothing" when someone down the ladder does something wrong.
That's a good question.....because the only way he couldn't know about this is if he's about as hands off as Paterno was in his last few years of coaching. To be that hands off without being a senile old coot.........woof.Serious question: which would be the worse look, that he organized (or at least knew about) this and didn't stop it, or if something like this could be going on in the program for which he is supposed to be in control of without him knowing anything about it?
