It's far easier to body someone when you know what's coming.....

And in the case of last year, it's somewhat amazing how they suddenly knew EXACTLY what play and patterns to run against the defense that led to some advantage....

Ohio State has to be better in those games. But don't discount the advantages of this type of scenario gave scUM.

Two things can be true at the same time.

I’ve constantly thought watching them the last couple years that “it seems like they always know exactly what is coming” especially in 2nd halves. Definitely makes sense now. They DID KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WAS COMING.
Against the qb who's lighting up the NFL this year and a group of 1st round receivers.

So basically we should operate like we did against Clemson the 2nd year regardless

I wonder if it's as possible to do what they did against Clemson without a month to prepare. Not saying there aren't other ways, but it makes me wonder if trying to practice differently after 12 weeks wouldn't be tough to do.

I thought they had started wearing those play sheet wristbands, but looks like they did some of that last year anyway. Not sure how you'd get around that because you'd have to have a copy of the wristband too.

Apparently there were multiple sources which substantiated the allegation. There may have been one play a team dissected afterwards, which led to another team catching the same thing, and the rest is history.
And I get that, but for there to actually be "evidence" to "substantiate it, someone or multiple teams presumably nailed them and the only way I can think of doing that without a doubt is signaling a false play and seeing them wildly mis-aligned and or personal that makes zero sense for how you are lined up, but would've made perfect sense for the signaled play. The fact that they're also being alleged to be sending scouts in advance seems oddly specific i.e. someone saw someone they knew directly tied to Michigan at a game with binoculars and a notepad, etc.

Wouldn't be shocked if the source was an inside job. There has to be more than a few run of the mill employees in the AD and admin that are 49ers sick of that freak.

Probably correct!

Maybe he's already been mentioned but could be Matt Weiss providing the info or providing it to someone who then reported it. He was fired for logging into other people's accounts.

That should be simple. Change the wristband each half. Same thing results in different plays
