U-M wrote that the Big Ten had "agreed to close its investigation, and the University and Coach Harbaugh agreed to accept the three-game suspension.”
The Big Ten wrote no such thing. If anything, the league doubled down on its initial ruling, using the phrase “never waver” to describe its aim to keep integrity a part of competition, and then wrote that the school's choice to withdraw litigation was “indicative of the high standards that the conference and the University seek to uphold." That's not quite I-told-you-so but it is the conference arguing it was right from the start.

On Bucknuts morning 5, they alleged to a poster they have who’s been right so far about all of this.
TIFWIW, but they apparently confirmed this is about gambling now.
Are player suspensions going to happen soon?On Bucknuts morning 5, they alleged to a poster they have who’s been right so far about all of this.

Immediately. Are player suspensions going to happen soon?
The "agreement" referenced by UM was not the actual agreement. More info = more investigation. Gambling should be pretty easy to prove. The B1G doesn't have an investigative arm, correct? They got all the fax and evidents they needed to suspend Harbaugh from the NCAA. The agreement, IMO ensures that the B1G doesn't hand down a bowl ban anymore this season. Eventually, the NCAA will likely vacate all of their wins from 2021, 2022 and 2023, but at least they'll have the opportunity to play in a bowl game or CFP.....
IF it's gambling, that's going to take a lot of investigation. I suspect it will run for quite a while, well into 2024 I'd have to think. But IF it gambling, that program is about to turn into a nuclear wasteland. That's as bad as it gets. Are player suspensions going to happen soon?
Well how long did the Iowa and ISU shit takeIF it's gambling, that's going to take a lot of investigation. I suspect it will run for quite a while, well into 2024 I'd have to think. But IF it gambling, that program is about to turn into a nuclear wasteland. That's as bad as it gets.
Not to mention that with smartphone gambling apps, the casino is never more than one second away. I figured the combination of ubiquitous online gambling apps and legalized college sports betting would lead to problems, but the fact that TCUN might be an early victim of this makes it all worthwhile. If it's gamblig it's players. And if they start looking at players gambling there will be no end to it.
You don't hand a bunch of 18 to 21 (31 in UM's case) year olds hundreds of thousands of dollars and expect them not to "bet".
That word may be their death knell.
But UM will not be alone.
