Seems like a pretty significant and specific caveat in light of the Clinkscale Twitter deletion.
Discovery would be a big freaking deal, as would having Harbie on the stand.
Also- as limited and toothless as the NCAA's investigation element is, it's really robust compared to the B1G. That's why the B1G didn't act until the NCAA provided information.
So, the Conference wasn't all that involved in investigation, and the "work cooperatively" element is what Michigan fans should be concerned about.
Exactly. Everybody is getting upset but this doesn't effect the NCAA investigation one bit. There really isn't a whole lot more the conference can do at this point anyways. If a big hammer is going drop, it's always going to be by the NCAA, not the conference.Pretty sure scUM is straight up lying. Nothing put out by the B1G has said anything about concluding investigations. Literally they said the opposite.
"...the Conference will continue to work cooperatively with the University and the NCAA during this process."

Oh and when Simple Jim inevitably says that he wishes that the hearing would have gone on so he could have "thundered away like Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men," just remember that there were two plaintiffs to the case: Simple Jim Harbaugh and the UM Regents. He could have easily severed his lawsuit from that of the Regents and gone ahead and showed up yesterday to thunder away.
Someone needs to scrutinize all football expenditures during this period. Make sure nobody used a university credit card to "buy something" from Stalions Amazon storefront, or from any unusual vendor. And make sure the football program really has every employee they say they have. Fake paychecks or purchases are common and highly illegal ways of diverting $$ to fund your questionable expenditures
He probably woulda just went in there and made some incoherent ramblings about how Chickens are the easiest birds to fuck or some shit.
