But Stalions didn't file any expense reports with Scum. Stop the investigation right now! Cheaters always make sure they leave a paper trail. Everybody knows that.

Yep. "No expense reports" means nothing.

Having worked many years in academic administration, including doing Internal auditing, I remember various scams to divert University $$. They weren't always easy to find, but once you found them, there was always a clear trail.

At that point it becomes criminal, and we financial auditing geeks would turn it all over to the police and lawyers.

I was going to say they probably weren't dumb enough to use University $$ for this - but their 'scheming" has been laughably stupid so far.

I am guessing that a recruiting analyst actually goes on the road and analyzes recruits. I could be completely off base here. But if my guess is correct, and Pony Boy didn't file any expense reports, isn't that kind of fishy?

That only means he didn’t have any legitimate expenses

Do you have proof that there were other expenses?

I mean, apart from the giant spreadsheet and the Venmo payments that lined up with said spreadsheet and the tickets purchased on his credit card not expensing those things isn’t suspicious stop looking at me like that this isn’t funny dammit

Yes, it's extremely fishy. The travel was being hidden - the question is, by whom?

They're trying to spin it as: This proves it wasn't official travel. University officials, like the headcoach, knew nothing about it. How could they know? Stallions never even filed an expense report. University $$ were not being spent. He had no official backing. He was off on his own.

Someone needs to scrutinize all football expenditures during this period. Make sure nobody used a university credit card to "buy something" from Stalions Amazon storefront, or from any unusual vendor. And make sure the football program really has every employee they say they have. Fake paychecks or purchases are common and highly illegal ways of diverting $$ to fund your questionable expenditures, with no need for an expense report. Hookers or cocaine are much more common "questionable expenditures" in cases like that, than spy glasses, but who knows.

It is going to be harder to officially tie it back to Harbaugh if Stalions didn't use University $$. But with all that video of Stallions on their sidelines and in their ears, and the fact that Harbaugh is still responsible for what goes on, I'm not sure they need those Expense Reports from Stalions, asking for mileage reimbursement from Ann Arbor to CMU, etc , with Jimmy's big "X" of approval.

What if they used the vacuum refurbishing LLC to "wash" the money. I think these Dudes watch too much TV. They've stolen from Breaking Bad and The Wire, so far. The FBI is already on the campus. How long until the IRS sets up shop as well?

I’m pretty sure other people have floated the idea of money laundering

So how did you miss it? What kind of Buckeye fan are you that you’d let any of the last 525 pages of posts escape your notice? What’s wrong with you?

Am I doing this right? Not being a TCUN fan this whole fake-outrage thing isn’t exactly my wheelhouse

Money laundering wasn't on my mind. It was Wire Fraud and Tax Evasion that i was thinking about. I guess they're related.

I'm not listening to Eisen until all of the evidence / investigation is complete.

Then I'll gladly tune in to listen to these idiots try to spin their shit.
You actually believe Eisen and the other scUM apologists are gonna let fax and evidents get in the way of their rants? Perhaps you’d like to invest in some of this ocean front property in Kansas? From my front porch you can see the sea!

Oh I do believe once all of their shit is out in the open it will be really difficult for Eisen to play his arrogant self ....

I like my current ocean views, but thanks for offer .... :biggrin2:

Best case scenario is that tsun loses the TRO, and Simple Jim misses Maryland, where they struggle. After that, the B1G with the public blessing of Ryan Day and Ohio State voluntarily lifts Simple Jim's suspension for the The Game, and the Buckeyes go up there and stuff a plunger up his ass. Just really drive home the point that 2021 and 2022 were the sole result of Stalions. NCAA and B1G come in over the Winter and nuke their program and forfeit every game that Stalions was on staff along with scholarship reductions and post-season bans. Harbaugh walks away in full screeching victim mode. Regents finally deal with their Ono problem. This is my dream, Dudes.
