WAR DECLARATION

Leaked by the NCAA to a pro-OSU reporter in Pete Thamel right before B10 media days... folks this was a declaration of war by the NCAA to Harbaugh and by proxy, Michigan. Mars could keep the NCAA case going just long enough in court to be a nuisance, but will Michigan let him? This is a fascinating scene playing out behind closed doors.

I don't for a second buy the notion that this is going to give some super moral motivation boost that leads scUM to a national title. Something like this can only lead to negative effects. I wouldn't be shocked if this leads to Harbaugh REALLY being over the college game and him just going through bare minimum motions for the season.

WAR DECLARATION

If it goes to all out war, I'd like to see the NCAA look into the fact that Woodson admitted in court that he received impermissible benefits from an agent before the 1997 season.

Be a damn shame to lose that 1/2 a NC and the trophy case go blank back to 1947 or whenever the fuck.

The geniuses at GoBlow have devised a plan. Ignore the suspension, go undefeated and the CFP is going to ignore the NCAA and invite them anyway because "Bowl bans aren't meaningfully enforceable"

"The bowl games can just ignore the bowl ban"

Guess they are dummies for not just taking us anyway in 2012!

This camp needs to do right by the parents and partial refund at minimum. Oversold and underdelivered. Extremely disappointed I spent $150 for no photo, no 7v7, no camper prizes. And to have them run out of shirts when they asked for size at time of registration was a red flag from the beginning. I reached out through the contact email with no response. I guess we wait and see how this is handled.
Blake thank you for the time speaking to the kids. Next Gen Camps should be ashamed of themselves. Do not promise “individual photo with Blake Corum” if it’s not a guaranteed thing. To my knowledge there was no individual photos taken at all. To spend 150$ and to hear some campers didn’t even receive the autograph of a flyer of the event is very unfortunate. I personally saw a lot of disappointed kids leaving the event.
Next Gen Camps pathetic attempt to rectify your lies and false advertisement. Offering 50 percent of an upcoming camp is a joke. I wish there was more we could do about this. Some of us traveled from other states for the entire experience promised.

Also, with the news that Ohio State had two medical retirements, I was looking to see how Michigan has resolved being 10+ over the 85 scholarship limit this summer and couldn’t find anything.

It would be fabulous if guys showed up to fall camp and figured out they were no longer on scholarship because they don’t have a locker. C’mon, Harbaugh, you can do it (especially without your wrangler).

Edit:

According to this, which is the only thing I can find that seems up to date, they are still seven over the 85 limit.

Harbaugh’s got some awkward calls to make in the next two weeks, unless, like I said, he just forgets that’s something he needs to do because Biff isn’t around anymore.

Can't wait to see DFBIA's surely comical defense of Harbaugh's gross roster mismanagement and screwing kids by waiting until the last minute to tell them they are no longer a part of the team.

We are so equal. No more coach for them and no more catfish for us. RIP Biff.

I think it's genius to be honest.

First, fuck those kids.

Second, it teaches those little shits that life isn't fair and you will get fucked over in life.

Shenanigans in Ann Arbor. Sock says stay tuned in for the rest of the reason.

This kind of stuff damages relationships with HS/prep coaches, which will cost him recruits in the future..

Hoping nothing but the worst happens to Jimmah on this one. He gets to coach as long as he wants, these kids only get a few years. Dick move.
