They've embraced the victim role. They're incapable of embracing the villain role.

To your larger point though, they also won't have Stalions on the sideline either. They won't be able to see a four wideout formation on the 15 with CJ Stroud and 4 future NFL receivers and know to bring up both their safeties to the line because they know it's a run. Or against the pedsters, they won't be defending a 4th and 1 at midfield and know drop both their safeties into coverage (something no sane DC would do) because they know that Franklin is going to throw deep.

And perhaps our team lost its emotional edge in the second half of 21 and 22 because they were frustrated that their opponents seemed to know their every move and were always in perfect position. That would have to drain the energy out of even the best team.

Losing Simple Jim is something. Losing Stalions is everything.
As long as stallions was the only one on their side who could decode their signals based on minor changes and knew all the tells. If they just replace it with intern b and nothing changes so what

"...during the time in question, including through the University’s seventh game of the 2023 season, the staff member was present on the University’s sidelines, dressed similarly to University coaches, in close proximity to University coaches, and he communicated directly with such coaches."

There is zero chance Hairball knew nothing about this.
Exactly. And how do you leave out the OC & DC from immediate punishment when the BIG10 and apparently the NCAA admit the team gained an unfair advantage from what they did?

How does this make sense to anyone...?

They did say in their statement that further punishment may be enacted if further developments warrent. So if they qualify for either the BIG10 Championship and/or the playoffs they may step in again.

What a mess.

True. I would have liked the B1G to mandate that they would have someone on their sideline the rest of the year monitoring any bullshit goings on.

They did what the my could.

I’ve had 2 drinks so TIFWIW…

But it doesn’t fucking matter what they did right now. Their coach has been suspended twice in one year for NCAA violations and the NCAA is going to absolutely wreck them it appears. It might be just above death penalty sanctions. It’ll be that bad.

With all that said… we are going to walk into their house and put them out of their damn misery. I can feel it.

I’m honestly a bit disappointed which will place me in the minority. I feel like the best triumph OSU could have incurred was beating him fair and square up north and watch him be forced to shake Day’s hand one last time before he threw up his cunt greased hands and quit.

Maybe it’s not the end. I almost hope it isn’t. Both teams still take the field at least so one way or the other we still have the opportunity.
