U of Chicago
Stanford
Wharton… in order, for starters.

tOSU and UM are nice degrees, but when it comes to the MBA, there’s only a few that really pay back the investment. It’s less about what you learn and more about networking. There’s others that would be on my list over tOSU and UM that I didn’t mention… but those three would be my primary focus.
MBA’s are a dime a dozen these days.

TOTALLY overvalued.

Forming lists of all the times theyve been supposedly "screwed by the refs"    acting like the Ped State cult

Sorry I'm late.
#1 - HAHAHAHA. It's been proven on your own websites that the spot was correct.
#2 - Yeah, I think they were boned on that one, too. Don't care.
#3 - Same. Boned. Not sorry.
#4 - It's been proven that the clock-keeper was correct.
#5 - I don't remember it.
#6 - I don't remember it.
#7 - HAHAHAHA. The only video of the kick is using 1974 technology. You can't see where the ball is. But I've heard from people who were there who say it was wide left. I think one of those people is on this site. (Sorry - I forget who that is.) But the *ichigan fans think that they can see better than the officials right under the goalpost?
#8 - Meh. Blame Tyler Ecker.
#9 - I don't remember it.
#10 - HAHAHAHA. I still think that the fumble recovery shouldn't be able to be advanced, so that play shouldn't have been allowed to continue anyway. Also, you can't count the same game twice.

There are a couple of us on here who were there, in the North end zone. I was behind the upright. It. Was. Wide. Left. And it was glorious!

You're probably the one I remember who said you were there.
You know, I get it. I've been in seats in the stadium, and other stadiums, where you can't tell if a field goal is good or not. Or, it looks good and they say it missed, or it looks bad and they say it was good. I get it. Case in point: 2003 Purdue. Ohio State made a field goal in the first overtime, and Purdue missed their attempt. Sitting up in about 21C, I thought he made it. It was close, but I thought he made it. I can go back and see that he obviously missed it.

About 2:30 in this video.

The only video of the 1974 game is tough to see.

About 2:42:30 in this video. You can see the ball go way left. Does it go left and stay in the goalpost or does it go left too fast and miss? Unless you're the ref under the posts, or have a view that buckeyeintn says he had, I don't think I'm putting any faith in your view.

Also, I like how *ichigan fans say that the whole stadium went quiet because they "knew" that Lantry had made the field goal, and Ohio State had lost. Ohio State only cheered when the referee chose to do what would get him out of Columbus alive: call the field goal "no good". The replay looks to me as though the fans are cheering pretty early. I'm guessing that the *ichigan fans are just grasping at straws.

I'm surprised this guy didn't include 1972 or 1973. 1972, from what I've seen them complain, was when they were down 14-11. They could have tied it with a field goal, but chose to go for the win. (Commendable.) From what I've heard, Ohio State held on a goal line stand on 4th down. *ichigan fans claim it was easy to call it a touchdown, but the refs said it was turnover on downs.
Here's a horrible copy of the game:

At about 2:10:00, there's a goal line stand. It's pretty close, but I see no reason to think he scored.

And of course 1973. People say that *ichigan outplayed Ohio State. But B-O-O H-O-O. We all know of games where the team that played better didn't win. It happens.

In that 74 clip. everybody seated behind the goalpost starts jumping and cheering even before the ref signals it was no good. So when did the Shoe go quiet?

The part that always gets me about the ‘74 field goal whining is that it was Mike Lantry. He missed FG’s like it was his job.

Edit
In the spirit of the thread….

This wasn’t the most accurate kicker of all time not getting the benefit of the doubt on a close call. It was Mike “wide left” Lantry.
