This would be the only explanation for the baffling behavior by the university. Their total lack of grasping the rules, what the big ten can do, and the overall scope of this corrupt program.

The only way their noncompliance can be explained really.

They aren’t complying with the NCAA and the university won’t ask because it knows the answer and they can’t continue denying if they’ve got the truth on record.

Interesting comparison between OSUs response to the AP accusation against Ohio State and UMs response to Signgate.

Ryan Day got compliance involved and asked within his program if any of this happened. He took the initiative. He did not come back and say I have no knowledge or I am not aware. He checked things out and said clearly IT DID NOT HAPPEN.

No one from Michigan has yet to say signgate did not happen. Everything in their push back is about procedure.

And now I read that they have yet to even ask their staff if it happened - the simplest thing you could possible do.

The most obvious reason for why they have not done so is that they know the answer is not what they want to hear. If it is true that they have not asked this simple question it is clear an admission of guilt as I can imagine.
They want this last dance opportunity so bad. They’ve pushed all the chips in for this year the moment they didn’t even bother asking questions.

The very least the school should’ve suspended Harbaugh because this is a pending investigation. Well because you couldn’t do the bare minimum now the Big Ten has to.

And if Harbaugh and the coaches lie (not that Ono and Manuel don't already know the answer), then they've broken an NCAA rule that will result in long show-causes when the ncaa eventually makes their decision.

Michigan is the acting like the kid who suddenly gets the flu because he knows he has a date in the principal's office the next day.

So...... (and please, bear with me here....I'm not a lawyer, compliance officer or in law enforcement)...... if there is an active investigation going on, and the head of that organization being investigated refuses to cooperate with the investigating parties, what conclusion could the investigating parties reasonably draw from that decision?

It's all so obvious though. What's the point of a last dance when everyone knows it'll be vacated or forfeited in a few years?

They're digging holes but have to know this all comes out soon enough. I guess they think they can jump ship this spring and summer and come out unscathed.

Lets once again point out, through all of this grandstanding and superfluous noise emanating from up north, NOT ONE denial has been stated. They aren't officially denying any of this. Not an ounce of it. They're just trying to delay and disrupt the inevitable. Scoundrels, all of 'em. Fuck 'em.

No reason to deny when you know you're leaving to become an SEC POWERHOUSE
