I was thinking that the normal and proper way that TSUN should have responded to the B1G and the NCAA would be along the lines of "we understand the seriousness of this situation and have started our own internal investigation of the charges and will immediately share with you any information that we uncover. We will cooperate with you in any way that we can and look forward to bringing this to a rapid conclusion." But I don't recall anything like this happening, which is consistent with the institutional arrogance that we have all seen for many decades. At first, I thought this was happening behind the scenes, but now it seems that is highly unlikely. I also think that most institutions would have placed the head coach and the coordinators on paid leave while the investigations move forward. But not in this case
Ono is clearly what he seems on the surface. There is no other level behind the scenes. He is really using this as a means of increasing his popularity with the fanbase.

DFBIA "rational" take on the Corum LLC thing is that anyone reporting on it now is "just trying to distract Corum from focusing on football" he denied it (of course he did) so nobody should be reporting on it.

Honestly, I was watching this video and thinking to myself, you know, if Stalions and Corum show up in that obnoxious car and hijack these motherfucking pandas right out of these fed ex trucks and speed away with them, I'm not even going to act like I'm surprised anymore.

This is the biggest and by far dumbest, most ridiculous story of the CFB year. There's seemingly no limit to how large the CFP implications could be, but also no limit on the absurdity of every little detail that comes out.

What if they are in the trucks in panda costumes trying to flee the country?

So it seems like we have (at least) three possibilities here....

1) Connor Stalions and Blake Corum ran a shitty vacuum cleaner repair business together.

2) Connor Stalions and Blake Corum were the masterminds of a point fixing/money laundering scheme.

3) Connor Stalions stole Blake Corum's identity so that he could be Corum's make-believe business partner.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure which one I'm rooting for.

I think you have to go with #2.

I see it like this; the Fab5/Taylor stuff is still to this day the largest pay for play (back when it was illegal) case in NCAA history.

They almost need this one to be the biggest cheating/point shaving scandal in CFB history to go with it.

Leaders and Best and all

In cheating, as with their stadium, they define "best" as "biggest". In terms that humans with the capacity for abstract thought might use, they are the worst cheaters in the history of sports.

With all the news going around, I'm turned around and backwards and not knowing which way is what.
Pretend you're talking to a 5-year-old. As of 11:00 eastern time on 11/8/2023, is M*ch*gan fucked? Or is it just Stalions?
Michigan is fucked. Unless the NCAA doesn't follow their own bylaws. Edit: which in my experience on boards most don't even know what the f-in rules are.

I mean, maybe. But...I bet you didn't have "Stalions on the CMU sidelines in CMU gear" on your bingo card when this all first broke either. So...

I am a schizo and even I didn't think that was possible when that picture first dropped.

So, let me get this straight.... ttun is being accused a vast multi-year cheating scandal. So, they turn the tables and present the NCAA/B1G with some sort of documentation (apparently emails & spreadsheets) that proves that some other B1G teams (reportedly OSU, Rutgers & Purdue) were stealing their signs? How did ttun come into possession of this evidence? I doubt they were cc'd on the emails......
The rumors I saw in this thread earlier was a coach who was at Purdue last year, Dave something I think, he was the linebacker coach last season and before that he was an analyst for Purdue. He's a bit of a journeyman and is no longer with Purdue and worked with Jack Harbaugh at Western Kentucky.

I think somebody who OSU had in their employ. Lol. Loyalty is shit.
Tell that to Stalions.
