You can easily justify paying a mortgage with a roommate (his buddy Odea) or help of parents.

... Not on a 500k house.
My pos house was 250k, and i was making 90k feeling house poor when i finalized.
That's a 2700 payment with my 2.2% and before prop tax, insurance, etc... which i know Ann Arbor has prop tax, he didn't get 2%, and insurance aint cheap.

He would need at least 2 room mates just to float imo. Definitely possible, but then where's the space for his Amazon shenanigans?
If it was me, id rent the whole house and move in with parents at his age. But .... yea.... nothing adds up.

March 2022 rates were right around 5% - let's say Connor got 4%. Before taxes, insurance - on a $502k mortgage at 4% he is paying $2,397 towards principal and interest.

I think you could reasonably say splitting $2400 to $1200/mo for 2 people could be done.

I just wouldn't die on the hill of how did he afford the payments when the show stopper really is how did he qualify?

Yeah except taxes in ann arbor are another 4%+ and even if the assessment rate is half that, its another grand a month or so. And a couple hundred more for Insurance. He better be turning those Hoovers into Dysons.

Gambling is the first thing I thought of yesterday when hearing of Corum’s name being on the LLC.

I didn’t post it because it was pure speculation, and we have no idea if it’s true at this point.

But even if it’s not true, Corum needs to have been squeaky clean over the past couple of years because he’s now going to get a major anal probe into his life over the next couple of weeks.
I would be very surprised if it was gambling. To play the devils advocate.... though hilarious, assuming he was in a LLC with Stalions, other than to show that everybody knew who Stalions was, having a LLC with somebody isn't illegal per se, under state or Federal law, and NCAA/Big 10.

I think it's a rabbit hole, like our sharing signs with Purdue.

There's absolutely going to be a gambling component to this shitshow .....

Gambling was one of the first things I though of when the fact that they have been covering all of these games. The whole Iowa/Iowa State thing came to mind. Now Michigan kids with more disposable income via NIL combined with insider information of sign stealing. How many bets were put through their Michigan Man at Barstool Sportsbook?
