Their lack of action is going to hurt them later.

Best case is for them to lose to both Penn State and Ohio State. Then to get bodied by the NCAA for not doing anything themselves in the spring.

Ohio State didn’t qualify to go to the Big Ten championship game in 2020, but the league bent the rules to allow them in. This smoothed the path for that year’s OSU team to make the playoffs as well. I really do want to ask: why are we staying in this league again?

Not clicking the link, but does it mention one of the reasons they pussied out of The Game was an attempt to keep OSU out of the B1G Championship game and CFP?

They realize that with the penalties that are coming, along with other team and recruiting factors, that it will be at least another 25 years until they have half a chance at a title. This year is their only hope.
