Yes, I’m sure there are social media interns in Chicago monitoring this. But he needs to make a decision based on facts. He did not have those facts before yesterday or today because all the coaches didn’t want to touch that topic publicly.

He doesn’t have to drop the hammer for MSU or Purdue. He needs to make that decision before Penn St and Ohio St, because those are the only two games where an un-level playing field actually matters.

Ok but being slow and measured is a different animal from not even knowing this was a big deal until the coaches spoke up.

Pettiti isn't going to fuck around. Everyone continues to get hung up "standard" punishment language in the by-laws. There's nothing STANDARD about what these cocksuckers have done.

Since it looks like the next step is going to be Pettiti dealing with the University Presidents and Chancellors, Just how involved would interim OSU President Mohler get considering Ted Carter assumes the full time role in January?

I would hope that the interim president acts as if he's the permanent president. I've never been an interim anything, and I've never been president of anything, so I guess I don't know what the precedent is.

I'm still not optimistic that any meaningful punishment comes out of this. I just don't see the NCAA or the B1G dropping the hammer (unless its on their own foot).

If it were up to me however, because there is video clearly showing that both the OC and DC were in communication with Stallions, they are both suspended indefinitely, pending the results of the NCAA investigation. Then put a proposal in front of Harbaugh that he can also accept an indefinite suspension. If he continues to insist that he was not aware of any wrongdoing, he can continue to coach. If the investigation produces proof that he did in fact know this was going on, he will be slapped with a 5 yr show cause and ttun will receive a 3 yr bowl ban - beginning when the investigation wraps up (most likely sometime in 2027). All B1G wins from the 2021, 2022 & 2023 seasons are vacated as well as the 2021 & 2022 B1G championships.

Again, none of this is likely to happen, IMO.... They cheated, won a bunch of games because of it and I think they're gonna get away with it.
