Most the time people get fired for doing something on a computer it’s pretty ugly.
Since this is just campus police and not like, local or federal agents, I think we’re in the clear.

Don’t read too much into it. Who here hasn’t been put on leave while a multi jurisdictional investigation was conducted on our use of work computers/internet access?A neighbor apparently had unmarked police cars at his home investigating at some point, so that would presumably be local police involved, too?
Probably not child porn thank God since they are saying access crimes and not pornography or shit like that. Why does the Big 10 have such a monopoly on all this weird molestation and child porn shit…?
Legit question…..so weird.
Ah shit. No clue what “computer access crimes” means but my first thought is something very very not good.
Broadly, “Computer Access Crimes” means unauthorized access to another network or account(s) that was egregious enough to involve fed monitoring and securing a warrant. E.g., Hacking or phishing. CAC is not usually invoked in the domain of kiddy porn or whatnot, unless that was being done under stolen accounts.
So yeah, everything is on the table.
Who knows? Maybe he got busted for using Edge and Bing, which in my book also constitutes a Computer Access Crime.
