It seems like a disgruntled employee (Weiss or someone else) knew that Jim Stapleton worked for NCAA Infractions and had a hate boner for Jimbo. Tipped him off about the scouting scheme. NCAA had firm investigate and probably caught them red handed in real time.

Fuck a 30 for 30. This story is going to need a Last Dance length docuseries to cover it. It is reading like work of fanfiction.

uhm.... Last Dance length you say....

Hear me out. Can we admit that App State's win over these cocksuckers skyrocketed the success of BTN? What if, we pull together money and create a streaming service with this documentary as our first major IP? Money would fly into our pockets. We can follow that up with breakdowns of the App State and Toledo games against those cocksuckers. Maybe a Mark May doc on his time at Pitt or Craig James and SMU. Just spitballing here.

2012 we played them all out but knew we were ineligible for the post season.

That makes the most sense here.
If they get anything this year they aren’t playing another game.

What and risk them knocking off or potentially embarrassing Ohio State or Penn State to the point the CFP won’t take them?

That makes zero sense. If they come down on them this year the music stops completely and abruptly.

Lol my favorite new take from DFBIA is “WHATS STOPPING SCHOOLS FROM HIRING PIS TO HACK AND GET DIRT ON EACHOTHER NOW”

Because that’s what happened here. That computer was voluntarily handed over by Michigan to be investigated . But can’t let the facts interrupt a good mental gymnastic

Banning any relevant coaches cripples them pretty badly I’d say. That’s probably the best we will get here right away along with postseason bans.

Unfortunately new game plans all around are going to be needed for everyone vs scUM considering they already have the goods.

I don't have a WaPo subscription, but it looks like there is a paper trail on Michigan computers.

NCAA probe began after firm obtained evidence from Michigan computers
