I’m honestly kind of shocked Michigan hasn’t made a statement by now, at the very least acknowledging the allegations and looking into them. The silence is honestly kind of damning. Meanwhile somewhere in Ann Arbor (whore):

They are busy figuring out how to distance themselves from this without giving their own football program the death penalty. Seriously, they better get to it ASAP.

Probably trying to come up with the best damage control plan they can before they say anything

They know they are cooked so their last outlet is lashing out at anyone who helped this come to light. Matt Weiss is the one though, his computer crimes were the start of all of this.

I wonder if those ‘computer crimes’ of Weiss involved the alleged hacking into tOSU practice video which has been rumored lately.
I saw a quote somewhere an hour ago, I can’t remember what it was because I’ve been covering so many different pages, from an NCAA investigation lady, specifically stating that the Weiss computer crimes case is completely separate, and has absolutely zero connection with this delicious debacle of dimwitted debauchery. Do with that what you will.

The TV networks aren't interested in taking that hit. There are contracts involved.

Fox isn't just going to say "okay, cool" if the B1G cancels TTUN-OSU this year.
Guess we’ll see.

I’m inclined to think they have a dead stick program right now and the worst thing they can do is have them knock the other programs out of CFP positions as well.

If Michigan can call it quits over a fake Covid outbreak they can cancel the rest of their season.

Eh, as far as the conference is concerned, we're talking 4 games, albeit the biggest one too. But you tell Michigan any lost television revenue and home game revenue for Maryland and Penn State is their penalty to the conference.

Meh… the best way to solve this is for the B1G to suspend OC, DC and any coaches who can be tied to accessing the data from their network… and HC get’s a suspension too for lack of institutional control… and they MAKE them play the games.

I saw the same thing, but it was a while ago and I wasn't sure I read it because I didn't see it anywhere else. Was a statement from Ann arbor pd, no?

I don't see how Harbaugh survives this. He can deny all he wants but he's still the captain of the ship, all of this happened under his watch, he's still responsible. Thought of course it's impossible he was clueless.
If other coaches were asking "how the hell is UM in the perfect defense for this play?" You can be certain harbaugh was asking the same question. If he didn't know, it's because he didn't want to.
