I am going with the assumption that nothing will be resolved as quick as people think, but eventually will get resolved. So with that, I think they have to change up some things now going forward.
The Big Ten should walk into the TSUN conference room with a court reporter to meet with the AD, Jimbo, and the President, like Wilford Brimley in Absence of Malice.
IDK The B1G seems pissed, if they have enough to believe that scUM has compromised the integrity of the competition, they will act as quick as they can on it, IMO.
I don't know what the Big Ten's process is. I would think that the Big Ten can act quicker than the NCAA.
What happens the rest of this year should be decided in the next 5-10 days between the B1G and tsun.
If it’s anything less than a bowl ban, a B1G title game ban, and Jimmah suspended for the rest of the season, I will be sorely disappointed.
Backward looking penalties will probably take a year or two between the NCAA and tsun.
Especially if the big boosters/donors get involved and want to end this mess before it goes completely nuclear. Many of them probably want Harbaugh gone anyway and this would be the perfect opportunity to do so.If the evidence is clear, and if they want to continue to claim that they are among the righteous, it could be UM who proactively pulls the plug.
