2023 Bowl Games Discussion

I think a Michigan 3-4 TD win is more likely than a close game.

Penix is good but he will be under the most pressure he’s ever been under. That DL will move his feet off his spots and the 50/50 deep balls will be slightly off. Plus I expect Mich to come down with one.

The Wash D vs a steady Michigan offense with JJ and Corum playing their hearts out won’t be pretty.

Emotional edge, size and experience all lean towards TTUN trying to finish the job.

It’ll take turnover luck or something divine to stop this from being a blowout. My opinion.

Texas rushed for 180 yards and averaged over 6 yards a carry versus UW. What the hell is TCUN going to rush for against them?

UW has to play from in front. If they get behind TCUN will fire up the meat grinder, go on 7 minute drives and run it down their throats.

I said it in the scUM thread ill say it here too. scUM is a disciplined team, Washington is a fucking penalty factory. I 100% expect them to do a bunch of stupid shit to shoot themselves in the foot with how all the breaks seem to be going scUMs was recently.

I think it's similar to our game against scUM. It might be "close" but it really isn't. scUM wins by like 7-10 but it feels a lot worse.

Also Washington just feels like a team that's finally going to completely run out of gas here. Their offense will stall a few times and scUM will just methodically grind them into the ground.

I'm calling 45-21 scUM. Gross.

Then we just wait and pray the NCAA hammers them and sets them off on another 20 year malaise.

Them getting to ride off on a high before the NCAA dropped a hammer is completely sickening. I've got zero faith the NCAA does very much if anything at all to them though, they'll get their title and off the hook for their cheating with little to no consequence, that's just how things seem to be going lately. Best case is Harbaugh jumps to the NFL, all their good assistants abandon ship with him and they end up making another lame duck hire like Hoke. Even that seems like a reach at this point though, This is going to end up being a huge "cheaters do prosper" type bullshit happening.

The cheaters have more than half of their roster as seniors or better, but more than half of those still have eligability. Most of the 4th and 5th year guys can come back. The question is will the coaches and administration be honest about what’s coming from the ncaa.
What is the quality of the players they have coming back?

I don't think they fall off of a cliff by any means, but their system of developing rated level players that fit their scheme means that they are due for some rebuild.

They should be losing most of their top skill players, D and O lind that have been the core of this team for the past 3 to 4 years.

I guess we shall see.
