Washington can run the ball (when their rb was helathy). They relied on it a lot during the season when Penix was hurt. I think when they played Arizona they scored like 5 rushing TDs

Forgot until the end of the game that Sark used to coach at UW. They're the ones who called him "Seven Win Sark" back then. I bet that makes this win extra sweet for Dawg fans.

Also, I’m not sure why Washington gets punished for the clock stopping injury in that late situation.

Maybe the playclock only goes to 25 seconds but it should still run.

I think it's cause the forced injury timeout rule. But yeah they should be able to decline and say were ok with it running

Pretty much changed the game. Gave Texas a legitimate chance to march down the field instead of heaving a few prayers 2 or 3 times.

I’ll go ahead and say it. “College football is better when Washington is good.”

That’s every bit as valid as any similar statement where you replace “Washington” with the name of any other team whether it’s Alabama, Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan, or USC. (Or Oregon, Oklahoma, Penn State, Miami, FSU, and so on.)
