I don't disagree about Riley but Nua has presided over some pretty underwhelming DL's at tsun prior to the emergence of two guys this year.

I mean Hutchinson wasn't shit for his career before this. I'd be asking what changed and why before investing heavily in Nua but that's just me.

He’s only been up north since 2019. He can tell recruits that he developed 3 first round picks during his time there. Also, your last two sentences can be used in his favor with recruits as well. “Hutchinson wasn’t that good until I developed him.”

Maybe, but he appears to be a hell of a coach.

Lincoln Riley is going to resurrect a dormant monster at USC.

Ehh, that praise is awfully strong imo. Their DL was trash last year and mediocre the year before that. Need to see more than one good year before I can label him a hell of a coach.

I do agree Riley will likely make USC into a top 5 program again

DFBIA is claiming Ryan Osborn, the guy they hired from, uh, Tennessee-Martin as a "defensive analyst" last year will be the replacement.

I don't think Nua is anything special, but lol.

I thought he was there longer than that. What you said makes more sense than what I said then (not uncommon).

Regardless of how true it may be or how good of a coach he actually is, he has a boatload of recent success to sell. In LA.

That’s why I said in the next few years. He’ll eventually have to duplicate it for it to matter any longer than 2 or 3 years.

Like I said, this is the guy who has clearly been the one actually coaching the DL all year anyway… which was blatant cheating, for the record, which they get called on, said they would address in the spring, and then continued to blatantly cheat, as evidenced by the “analyst” celebrating with the players on the sidelines during games.

He’ll be helped by the fact the rest of the PAC is the walking shits in a crowded hallway

So if Harbaugh did bolt, the coaching cycle has already came and gone and pretty much all desirable names have been gobbled up.

Whos the replacement? Are they stuck with a lame duck like Gattis for a season and then try to find someone after next year?

Rumor is that Bill O'Brien would leave Bama for the scUM HC gig. That's only name so far. Unless they promote Gattis or Hart or MacDonald
