I'd say your QB room isn't in that great of shape for the future when the #3 guy you list is a walk on I had to look up to even know who he is. Orji and Denegal were 3* the #28 and #30 QBs in their class.

They aren't looking great for any QB in the top 10 this year. They are a McCarthy/McNamara transfer away from a potential disaster. Harbaugh is very liable to botch that situation.

You're not understanding that with the transfer portal, scUM will always have some QBs to trot out. That's what the poster was alluding to, the QB not on the roster yet 8D

Lol "there's always the portal" is a thought that they do actually convey quite a bit. However. I'm sure top transfer QBs will be pointed to how the whole Patterson experiment worked out. They're gonna have a hard time getting any of the bigger level talents from the portal with that offense.

I disagree with that. Top transfer leave and go places for all types of reasons, and scUM can land guys with big names(not saying that they'd be worth a damn) and create Patterson scenarios yearly. A 5star in HS means nothing in college, that's why you see guys like JT Daniels, Spencer Rattler, Emory Jones, Bo Nix, Jayden Daniels, etc all leaving to go somewhere for PT. scUM can easily land some of the kids like this and give them mediocre college careers like they did with Patterson. And let's be honest, as long as Hairball is the HC, he has little motivation to actually recruit top players himself. Notice how the assistants have been doing most of the heavy lifting this cycle

Whoever seeded those events needs a new job. The very first matchup is App State loss vs. RichRod era. That seems like a 1 vs. 2 matchup.
They also missed a lot.
1972 - Goal Line stand.
1973 - The Vote. (Or "Tiebreaker")
1974 - Wide Left.
1968 - Couldn't go for 3.
2002 - Will Allen's INT.
2004-2006 - Troy Smith
What year was their 4OT loss to Penn State?
There was a game in the 90s when they had Northwestern beat. Their running back got a first down, then continued to fight for more yardage. If he falls down, they win. But he didn't, and he fumbled. Northwestern got it, drove down the field, and scored a touchdown. Maybe doesn't belong on this list - no one remembers.
What about the loss to Toledo?

"Botched snap" should definitely be called "Woah he has trouble with the snap"
