The good ones aren't.
Hutch (who was a very, very good 4 star) - high 1st round
McGrone - 5th round
Muhammad - transferred
Sims - transferred
Milton - transferred
Mayfield - 3rd round
Hayes - still there
That's it. That's all of the 4 stars.
Gemon Green is the top 3, who is an okay corner. Started all of 2022, half of 2023. The NFL didn't want him, so he's back as a 5th year guy.
It's not like there's a pile of TJ Watt's here.
There's ronnie bell, who is a nice, purdue level WR who will make plays against the OSUs too. He's not within miles of what Lloyd used to roll out 3 deep, let alone the last few years at OSU, before that at Bama, or LSU a few years back. I think he'll stick for awhile in the NFL, as he can play, but he should have been a mid to low 4 star based on his current play. I would rerank him like Jalin Marshall, despite being different players. They are underrated in HS and very valuable in college, but not elite WRs.
Jake Moody is a very good kicker but I seriously hope he's not being ranked, as kickers aren't really relevant to rankings (and almost never high even when well regarded).
Hassan Haskins had a nice year. Sparty and Wisconsin find guys like that constantly.
This is 100% hutch.
THey had some nice 3 stars in there, but that is not a top-5 class even with Aidan, and even if you rate Aidan based on his incredible 4th year of production only and ensuing NFL success (and not his iffy first 3 years).
