The WRs aren’t good either. It took until late in the game when Maryland’s D finally broke one for one to really work open for a big play. The passing game mostly was all short TE dump offs

I cant wait until Iowa's Defense lays the lumber on that run game next week.
Unfortunately at the same time that Iowa Defense will be laying eggs all over the stadium. Maybe it'll be a 2-0 Final?

Those 2 games will really outline what scUM really has. Even though we all fully expect no upsets, MD exposed their D and I expect Iowa to expose their O.
And because they'll win both games, Hairball won't make any meaningful adjustments before November.

Also this is the same old Harbaugh offense. Except now they just have a QB who can run around a little more while the WRs fail to get open.

Not the “completely new exciting system!” They claimed was coming into play when McCarthy took over

It looks like they have the general idea of how to utilize a QB with some mobility, but everytime he appears to get a little bit of feel for the game, they go back to their single wing "just hand it off because RISK = BAD" offense.
