2022 Rose Bowl, tOSU vs Utah, Jan 1st @ 5pm EST, ESPN

Reading the Athletic's top 50 bowl games article. The 1980 Rose Bowl was before my time. I didn't know Charles White had 247 yards for SC. Bah Gawd someone please stick their nose in there and make a tackle.
It was frustrating to watch, their final scoring drive was basically Charles White running behind future NFL Hall-of-Famer Anthony Munoz, and the Bucks couldn’t stop it.

My dad talks about this happening ever damn game we watch. Apparently it scarred him for life.

Also says Munoz was the Benglas best player they ever had.

OHIO STATE MOTIVATED TO PROVE IT CAN PLAY PHYSICAL, TOUGH FOOTBALL IN ROSE BOWL AGAINST UTAH

128065_h.jpg

The Ohio State football team has heard the criticism since its 42-27 loss to Michigan at the end of November.

One narrative has been repeated more than any other in the three-plus weeks since that game: They’re soft. They aren’t physical. Michigan offensive coordinator Josh Gattis poured gasoline on that fire when he said Ohio State is “not a tough team” in a radio appearance just days after the Wolverines’ win.

The Buckeyes heard those comments, and at least some of them agree Michigan was the more physical team. Ohio State linebacker Steele Chambers said Gattis “was right,” because he “personally thought we played pretty soft.” Ohio State defensive end Jack Sawyer offered a similar sentiment, saying “maybe we weren’t playing as tough as we should.”

Orlando Pace says, “Hey.”
I am to young to give a correct take on this. I will say the Pace pancake video on YouTube is awsome viewing.

My dad loved Monoz. Still has a old calendar with him taking on two guys at once. He swears he could do that all day. He almost reverses him as Highly as WOODY.

Zero question on the Munoz and Bengals bit.

He is very likely the GOAT of o linemen
I was at a public event getting my Bengals team helmet signed by Charlie Joiner, and I asked him “can you fit your sig in right there next to Anthony Munoz?” And he just looked at me and said “I’ll do anything next to Anthony Munoz”

Respect from your peers, yo.

If you're talking college, I can go with Pace (Munoz was injured quite a bit).
If you're talking pros, it's Munoz.
I was saying the same. Pace was a better run blocker but Munoz could also glide for a huge man which made him a phenomenal pass blocker. Both were total package though and getting compared to either is about the best comment anyone could give you
