It's not always so much about how the win, sometimes it's about how you show up. If your assessment is even remotely accurate, it would have been best for Day to decline the invite all together.

And, this part isn't directed at you NF, should anyone here who feels these traditional bowls are meaningless exhibition type scrimmages now, then you really shouldn't even register a word of complaint.

Yep, thought about that after I hit "post." I know this is the Rose Bowl, but it just doesn't feel "big" to me at all. It's kind of just a pizza party for the team after a so-so season, which is sad, but it kind of is what it is. I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of bowl games like this for many teams in the future. Maybe not as bad with all of the COVID shit, but opt outs are gonna become a part of bowl season and it sucks.

And I do not enjoy watching whatever the fuck it is they're throwing out there on defense. Knowles has some work to do. A lot of work to do.
