2022-2023 College Basketball General Discussion

The Pac 12 is a mess.

Right now Arizona and UCLA are the only teams i'd call "sure" tournament teams.

All these horrible early season losses adding up are really going to hurt the conference as a whole when it comes to the metrics.
ASU's loss to Yexas Southern was eye raising but beating VCU and scUM makes up for it. Oregon has Houston and UConn coming up so we'll see what they're made of. UC-Irvine traditionally has a pretty good team so the loss really isn't that shocking. Arizona has looked good and last night showed how shallow UCLA is relying too much on two freshman and their 6th man has been a minor role player for 3 years. Keep your eye on Colorado though those SEC wins were legit.

Louisville now 0-4 after getting pummeled by Arkansas. They were supposed to not be good but they are just straight awful at the moment

The ACC is looking like a bad conference all around, Outside of UNC, Virginia & Duke there's not much there. The middle-bottom of the conference is just littered with bad teams.

Creighton is better than I realized

Nice to see Nembhard back and playing well. He was Big East freshman of the year last season but broke his wrist late February. The Blue Jays looked like a team who could make a tournament run before they lost him.

They're in the middle of nowhere Nebraska, doing in hoops what Corn wishes they could do on the gridiron.
