OK. do I think Michigan is overrated? Yes. Do I think Ohio State has better talent? Yes. At the same time Michigan has consistently pulled in classes near the top of the Big Ten, trailing only Ohio State and Penn state. And, yes, sometimes those rankings are skewed by having more slots to fill than other teams, but Michigan has enough talent to be second best in the East and to be a threat in The Game. Jus' sayin' they must be doing somethings right to be where they are, but October 30th will tell us more about the gap between the two teams this year.

Yeah, I agree. And 1995 and 1996 are still too fresh in my memory. They had no right being within 100 points of Ohio State those years, and we let them show us what their shit looked like.

Never forget.

Feel free to move this. I didn't know where to put it. But the *ichigan board is going to have to call a doctor since it's probably been over 4 hours since they posted it.

I guess this is the first time that Tom Brady has faced an Ohio State quarterback. So he and the fanbase are thinking they're the best.
Look, *ichigan made him a 6th round draft pick. Maybe he otherwise would have been just as good in the NFL. Maybe NFL coaching made him what he is. And I can't explain why Ohio State quarterbacks don't do anything in the NFL. We can say, "Troy Smith didn't get a fair chance," or, "Dwayne Haskins was starting too soon," or whatever. But that sounds like a lot of excuses. Personally, I'd like to see more Ohio State quarterbacks doing well in the NFL, but I really like the 17-2 record we've seen this millennium.

One guy's response to another post is pretty good. No response to his post, though.

Fact burns deep.
Not as deep as OSU winning 15 out of the last 16 (or whatever it is) with nothing but those shit QBs though

The response was from Wolve1972. He posts on BWI, and reminded me of ThaKid in his hilarious optimism for *ichigan. He's calmed down a lot recently, though.

If it's the same guy that posts on BWI. he pretty much outed himself as an OSU troll. The Pedsters keep him around because of his over the top posts about scUM.

Same name. I don't know if it's the same guy.
That would make sense if he's an OSU troll. That's too bad, though. Unless he's pulling a Tug Speedwell, I'd rather he be a *ichigan fan who is a big doofus.

Am I missing all the ragingly successful *ichigan quarterbacks not named Tom Brady?

Navarre? Denard? Patterson? Speight? Gardner? O'Korn? Ruddock? Did I miss a bunch of pro-bowls from Tate Forcier and Steven fucking Threet?

They typically fall back to guys like Elvis Grbac and such from the late 80's and early 90's...like their current spectrum resident head coach.

Always remember...the "D" stands for dumbest

I know, always living on past "glory."

Glory in this case being Grbac's 70 starts and 99-81 TD-Int ratio.

Also, Tom Brady lost one of Michigan's two games to John Cooper.

and they are such a prodigious QB school they turned the GOAT NFL QB into...checks notes...6th round draft pick.

If they are going to claim any alumni who did something of note well after his days in AA, don't they have to claim Ted Kaczynski?

They had about as much to do with his development as they did with Brady's.
