Not that the transitive property of football necessarily means anything since football is a matchup dependent game, but lets go to the team stats to see how two teams fared against a common opponent.

Nebraska still isnt very great by any means, but they have played better lately. Martinez running the ball could give that scUM defense fits.

Not any worth worrying about. I once ended up getting into town a day later than I wanted to for my grandfathers funeral because I wouldn't connect through Detroit. He was dead, what did he care? He would have understood anyway.
Wife planned our wedding for the day of The Game in 1997. I told her she could still have it but I wouldn't be there. She moved it once she realized I wasn't kidding....so, no. No problem.
