I saw at least one "wait until some date in the distant future..." type post.

They have been slacking on those. Used to be a staple of their summertime playbook.

The "generational talent" line about the QB made me actually laugh out loud. No way that's a real person. Has to be a troll.

To be fair, when your competition includes Steven Threet, Nick Sheridan, Justin Feagin, Tate Forcier, Denard Robinson, Devin Gardner, Shane Morris, Russell Bellomy, Jake Rudock, Wilton Speight, John O'Korn, Shea Patterson, Dylan McCaffrey, Cade McNamara, and Joe Milton ... it's not too difficult to be a "generational talent".

So where does Ohio State pass Michigan first?

I feel like the Buckeyes are going to pass Michigan first in all-time wins, under the condition that Ohio State gets their 2010 wins reinstated. If the Buckeyes gain 12 wins with that, they’ll only need to win 21 more games than Michigan before they’ll have to beat the Wolverines seven more times to take the lead in the all-time series between the two schools. If the wins aren’t reinstated, then the Buckeyes have to win 33 more games before beating Michigan head-to-head eight times.

Ohio State has a lot more wiggle room when it comes to the all-time wins mark over Michigan. You could see the Buckeyes gain at least two wins in a season, and if Michigan is really down, then maybe we see Ohio State close the gap by 6-7 wins in a year. While in the all-time head-to-head series, you only have one crack at the Wolverines every year. Maybe by some miracle, the Wolverines beat Ohio State, then it sets you behind schedule and it could take a few more years than originally anticipated to gain the edge on Michigan in the series.

No matter what happens, it’s quite apparent that Ohio State is trending up, while Michigan is trending down. It’s a shame that’s the case since college football is better when both teams are at the top of their game, but a win’s a win over Michigan and I’ll take them however Ohio State can get them. There’s no question who the better team in the rivalry is right now, so what better time to stack those wins up and make things look better on paper.

Raiding Cleveland is a bit of scUM tradition

Even then you'd think a "generational talent" would come in and hit the ground running as the starter over a squad of "meh".

Just another reason not to play Indiana before OSU. Both Winovich and Gary were injured heading into the OSU game after taking cheap shots from IU players, not to mention the cheap blindside that led to Berkley Edwards being carted off the field.

People on this board love to talk about Allen as if he's some great coach, and he's certainly done well at Indiana. But his teams have been some of the dirtiest that we've played in a long time, and he does nothing to put the breaks on it. In fact, he defends their play in press conferences. So I say fuck that guy.

I'm just surprised at how many of them are counting The Game as a loss before the season even starts. However, there still are 50 percent of them that are expecting championships.
they count it as a loss right up until it's game time, bc it makes them feel better about reality. then they think the law of averages comes to play and it's like flipping a coin. eventually they have to win, right? just want it real bad and put up a sign that says you wanna beat ohio state or some shit.

Have they legitimately lost a game under Harbaugh in DFBIAs eyes? It's literally always a injuries or referee excuse.

I thought Penn State had copyrighted that excuse for losing and no other B1G school could use it.....:slappy:

The Greatest College Football Programs Of All Time—Ranked

3. Ohio State Buckeyes

While Ohio State doesn’t have as many total wins or national titles as their arch-rivals at Michigan, the Buckeyes recently passed the Wolverines in an impressive mark of excellence. In 2019, Ohio State reached an overall win percentage of .730 as a program, which is tied for the best mark among those that have won at least 900 games. The program is also closing the gap in terms of total wins, a category in which they rank second all-time, aided by the 10 Big Ten titles they’ve won since 2000 alone.

The Buckeyes have eight claimed national championships and have produced seven Heisman winners and 35 unanimous All-American selections, both of which are records.

FWIW, Alabama is #1 and Notre Dame is #2. scUM is over rated at #5.

"While Ohio State doesn’t have as many total wins or national titles as their arch-rivals at Michigan"

Yeah, man...if only we could've padded our win totals and NCs by fielding teams with pros and whooping up on Albion, Beloit, Ohio Northern, Case, Physicians & Surgeons, American Medical and Kalamazoo (all actual claimed wins, look it up, it's just the tip of the iceberg) back in the nineteen-aughts...
