Here is a new fun take

Texas and USC sucking are responsible for Ohio State being better than Michigan

If it's so easy why isnt Michigan doing the same thing :tibor:

Was just thinking we had too many linebackers…

They've had 9....NINE Linebackers transfer since the start of the 2020 season  maybe they might have numbers but I'm sure some guys that definitely weren't expected to see the field for like 3 years (if at all) are getting pushed up there now.

Their remaining LBers that are called LBers on the schools site.

Anthony Solomon - 6 tackles in 2 seasons. As a recruit #14 OLB #223 Overall
Josh Ross - 136 tackles, 2 sacks, 6.5 TFL in 4 seasons. Used the COVID 5th year, meaning he likely was not thought of highly by the NFL
Michael Barrett "THICC Curtis Samuel" - 51 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 Sack in 3 seasons. As a recruit #61 ATH #751 Overall
Junior Colson - The one highly sought after Freshmen here
Kalel Mullings - 1 tackle as a freshmen in 2020. As a recruit #10 OLB #152 Overall
Joey Velazquez - has appeared in 1 game on special teams in 3 years. As a recruit #88 S #1039 overall
Nolan Knight - Walk On
Nikhai Hill Green - 1 tackle as a freshmen in 2020. As a recruit #25 OLB #393 overall
Jerome Nichols - Walk On
David Ojabo - 1 tackle in 2 seasons. As a recruit #19 SDE #314 Overall

Incoming fresh not yet there.

Jaydon Hood #29 LBer #249 overall
Tyler McLaurin #54 LBer #500 overall

These guys are EDGE by 247

TJ Guy #50 EDGE #933 overall
Dominick Giudice #94 EDGE "NA" overall in composite

Not exactly what i'd call a flourishing situation.

Of the 10 that were on campus through spring, 3 are walk ons or Joey Velazquez who is essentially a walk on.

That leave you with 6 "experienced" players and 1 freshman who was in town for spring practice.

Having 4 linebackers on the field constantly they are going to be relying a lot on low rated true freshmen or to be seen converted Dlinemen to provide any depth.

Ross and Barrett the 2 most experienced have shown to be mediocre-ok players at best
