Xavier Worthy is not technically a "transfer". He signed an LOI with Michigan but never enrolled; Michigan released him from his LOI which allowed him to select another school. A distinction without a difference.

This has been obvious for months that if Worthy left, that he'd end up at Texas. It's been obvious that Sark & Co has been illegally in contact with and recruiting him since he signed. Tampering has always been a part of college sports, but is becoming blatantly obvious now with the transfer portal and is likely just going to be the norm in football and basketball now
